I hadn’t really been into Vocaloid for awhile but figured I may as well, and now I have a Vocaloid dedicated RUclips channel. I have the Japanese version of this game and highly recommend the bundle if you like rhythm games.

I'm actually really happy that they've decided to put "Monochrome Dream Eater" and "Two Breaths Walking" inside the game. The have been my favorite songs for years now and I was very disappointed when the first 101 songs were announced and those two weren't in it. I'm totally going to buy this game in May now!

The game did pretty well according to Sega. 150,000 copies sold by the end of February. So proud they were of that number that they pinned it to the Project Diva's Twitter account for a while. Hopefully that popularity makes them reconsider for a 2nd season pass.
To be honest, I'm actually quite happy with the songs sega decided to put in this game Yes, there arent over 200 songs(compared to future tone), but they put in new songs that we didn't get in Future Tone. I will still be buying this game because I'm really thrilled to be able to play this game on the switch. This is also a great way for people who don't have a ps4, but have a switch to play project diva.
i really hope they eventually send the new songs towards FT as DLC packs, tbh it would be dumb not to do that though i also plan on buying a switch at some point and getting mega39 because i need to have all the games ;P
I'm happy with the song list, but since it's the 10th anniversary of Project Diva, I kinda was expecting something bigger, like a game with all of the previous Project Diva songs and 39 new ones.
I don't think the Switch could handle that. The game is already 16GB and that's a lot in itself with what we get and some songs can only handle being played in 30fps. Having more songs than the PS4 version would not handle well on the console at all since the PS4 is more powerful than the handheld Switch.
The thing is, the Switch can handle huge games like Warframe 20GB, and Witcher 3 at 31GB- it would be awesome if they consider doing a second season pass to add some more! The switch is probably capable, maybe they where just doing this as a test run to see if peeps would buy it enough?
I really would love if they added songs from kagerou project, when Haze Daze was introduced it was a complete mess because video didn't make sense to the story it is representing.
there were many things wrong with this video, they even messed up the simplest thing ever - lyrics sat that Hibiya woke up at 12:30 pm which is literally the middle of the day and Miku wakes up in the middle of the night. what the hell and why. although they could've done a worse job, at least Miku is actually dying and the beloved Truck-kun is there.
well the base game is 40 dollars and 60 for the base game and the dlc so you're basically paying for a normal game if you get the season pass bundle one

I can’t wait to get the western game! This will be my first PD game on a console since I don’t a ps3 or 4 and only played mirai, PPD, and on emulators (plus also the Mega39s demo) so I’m extremely excited finally play it. I marked my calendar and counting down the days til May 15th!

Meiko P install an emulator you want to use (many emulators can only do one type of console) and download the rom of the game (make sure it’s safe cuz some sites are scams). After that, you can load the rom in the emulator. If you still have trouble using the emulator or don’t know how to use it, then I recommend looking for a tutorial which is what I usually use.

Because of how often Cyber Cat and Blue Crystal are used, I actually had to look up if Kaito and Meiko had other modules, which I know sounds stupid, but I legitimately did it

I know the games are called Hatsune Miku: Project Diva, but I wish there was more Meiko in all of them. She's definitely my favorite Vocaloid, and I wish we could see more of her.
I think the lack of songs is because meiko along with kaito are VERY DIFFICULT to tune. But when you tune them right they sound amazing. And I kinda get tired of miku being in 70% of the songs when other vocaloids only have about 4 songs. No hate to miku it’s just too much.
The song list is pretty nice. But I'll admit, I hope there are more DLC packs in the future. For example, it'd be nice if Luka and Rin's versions of Romeo and Cinderella were included. I was so hesitant on getting this because I own Future Tone for the PS4 but then when they released the price AND that you could get this bundle for cheaper then a standard switch game well... let's just say I'm getting yet another copy lol

Am I the only one who really wishes they'll bring back Electric Love? I loved that song in Mirai on 3DS, but it wasn't in Future Tone, and I doubt it'll be making a comback in megamix :/ It's one my favorites, but it doesn't seem all that popular. Oh well, I can always hope!
a lot of my favorite songs that didn’t make it are in the dlc so i’m very happy about that. i’m still upset they removed the edit ones though because i liked some of those songs and they were fun to play
As someone who bought both the Japanese version and the US version, this is a better Day 1 list, and it kinda stings. I paid about $110 for all the songs on this list, where as it’s only $60 here (the price of the basic game in Japan) Still worth it nonetheless
the title says HATSUNE MIKU project diva. yes, we all love the other vocaloids, but it makes sense that SEGA put more miku songs than the others. it's a shit, of course i want more meiko or kaito songs, but we have to live with it.

i know i'm late but i was so worried that Though My Song Has No Form wasn't coming back (as much as i love Romeo & Cinderella and Cat Food, Though My Song Has No Form will always be my favourite doriko song) Also for the new songs i wish they added Hachi's Wonderland and the Sheeps Song too :) (but Jigsaw Puzzle surprised me, i didn't know of Mafumafu before it was announced for the game and Jigsaw Puzzle is now my favourite vocaloid song of all time, no word of a lie)

When I saw Saihate in the song list, I screamed. Saihate and its module will always be my favorite song & module. I always use it in every miku song! Other than that, this song list selection is alright, almost all the songs I like are in this game. I was especially glad when Pinky Swear & Soundless Voice was in. Those two are my favorites! (Yes, along with Saihate), I've also recently come up with a liking for every single DECO*27 song so that's great I guess! I'm also really glad for the kz songs in here. I love these producers alot! Honeyworks is also great, which is why I'm really happy Terekakushi Shishunki is in. CosMo@BousouP's Infinity series is also just wonderful. They both (Disappearance & Intense Voice) have very different endings! I also absolutely LOVE when ryo's songs get in!!! Odds & Ends, Black Rock Shooter, etc. Time Machine and Urbandonment is also great! Gosh, there's soooo many songs I like on this song list. Still not enough though! Which is why I'm getting the bundle :D Forgot to add, I also LOVE wowaka's songs alot. Sad that he died, I wanted more songs from him :(

Lazy? They had to make new gameplay for all of the songs and port a PS4 GAME TO THE SWITCH and they had to make it play portable, and they added the ability to play touch screen, also they had to pay people to do this, they have to advertise and that costs a shit ton of money, and this game is for Nintendo fans to get into miku, lol It has been on the PlayStation for years mostly, so I don't think this is sega being lazy, but project diva x was lazy....

i know a lot of people didn’t like the song list when i was released but i’ve loved it so far! i’ve been part of the vocaloid fandom for about 6 years or so but i wasn’t massively into looking at lots of songs. i typically stuck to a few songs and that was it for me. this game showed me like 50+ new songs so i’ve grown to love this game!! i started playing the games on the 3ds(i sadly lost the game) and going from those graphics to the ones on this is awesome!! another thing that i absolutely loved was when i recognized songs in this game from the 3ds game that i had played in middle school. i really do love the song list and i’m happy that i’ve been pulled back into the fandom! anyways, stan vocaloid :)

Meiko P install an emulator you want to use (many emulators can only do one type of console) and download the rom of the game (make sure it’s safe cuz some sites are scams). After that, you can load the rom in the emulator. If you still have trouble using the emulator or don’t know how to use it, then I recommend looking for a tutorial which is what I usually use.
@Meiko P I’d recommend using ppsspp, it’s a psp emulator, so then you can play all the psp diva games.

I know the games are called Hatsune Miku: Project Diva, but I wish there was more Meiko in all of them. She's definitely my favorite Vocaloid, and I wish we could see more of her.
I think the lack of songs is because meiko along with kaito are VERY DIFFICULT to tune. But when you tune them right they sound amazing. And I kinda get tired of miku being in 70% of the songs when other vocaloids only have about 4 songs. No hate to miku it’s just too much.

As someone who bought both the Japanese version and the US version, this is a better Day 1 list, and it kinda stings.

When I saw Saihate in the song list, I screamed. Saihate and its module will always be my favorite song & module. I always use it in every miku song! Other than that, this song list selection is alright, almost all the songs I like are in this game. I was especially glad when Pinky Swear & Soundless Voice was in. Those two are my favorites! (Yes, along with Saihate), I've also recently come up with a liking for every single DECO*27 song so that's great I guess! I'm also really glad for the kz songs in here. I love these producers alot! Honeyworks is also great, which is why I'm really happy Terekakushi Shishunki is in.
CosMo@BousouP's Infinity series is also just wonderful. They both (Disappearance & Intense Voice) have very different endings! I also absolutely LOVE when ryo's songs get in!!! Odds & Ends, Black Rock Shooter, etc. Time Machine and Urbandonment is also great! Gosh, there's soooo many songs I like on this song list. Still not enough though! Which is why I'm getting the bundle :D

They had to make new gameplay for all of the songs and port a PS4 GAME TO THE SWITCH and they had to make it play portable, and they added the ability to play touch screen, also they had to pay people to do this, they have to advertise and that costs a shit ton of money, and this game is for Nintendo fans to get into miku, lol It has been on the PlayStation for years mostly, so I don't think this is sega being lazy, but project diva x was lazy....

i know a lot of people didn’t like the song list when i was released but i’ve loved it so far! i’ve been part of the vocaloid fandom for about 6 years or so but i wasn’t massively into looking at lots of songs. i typically stuck to a few songs and that was it for me. this game showed me like 50+ new songs so i’ve grown to love this game!! i started playing the games on the 3ds(i sadly lost the game) and going from those graphics to the ones on this is awesome!! another thing that i absolutely loved was when i recognized songs in this game from the 3ds game that i had played in middle school. i really do love the song list and i’m happy that i’ve been pulled back into the fandom! anyways, stan vocaloid :)
