    Hit the woods! Remember, they might've been fields or homes or even pubs 1500 years ago!
    Yes, you'll have to dig through roots and whatnot but, that keeps others out too!
    Either way love, just keep digging, you're a breath of fresh air!

    Hi Dawn , people don't realize just how hard it can be to put out a detecting video every week. They don't see the hunts that didn't turn up much .Then there is the editing and uploading . You do a fine job .

      You got that right! I bet ive been out 4 times this month that i couldnt put a video together from it. Ive put a video out most Tuesdays for 8 years, its a lot of work, but its pleasurable if people enjoy them :-)

      @@DiggerDawn Nope. The pattern in the Los Angeles area and the Inland Empire (where I live - Corona) is May Gray, then June Gloom, and (for us-then) temps in the mid 90’s to 100 to 110. Have a great weekend! Your videos always cheer me up. Thanks! 🙂😎

    Your squished ring thing w/ a lump almost reminds me of a snake biting it's tail? " Ouroboros" a snipit in wikepedia has something about the spanish cultural symbol . /The hake biting it's tail??? far fetched but thought I'd throw it out there. Always love your videos, ty.

      I just phoned him to ask he said "They are British Army boots, he said search ebay for YDS Kestral they are around £35 for grade A (New) he said "they are they best boots Ive ever bought"

    Annular brooches are often made of bronze Dawn I found a knights Templar pilgrim brooch with a Latin inscription around the outside still with the pin that’s in incredible condition which is made of bronze

      I can find no evidence of it but I don't doubt that yr fight to some extent.all monarchs had a few non well wishers. Liz 1at coins were nearly all poorly struck until milling came into use.

    too thick and wonky to be not at least saxon old, your "ring-thing-gone-bad" and by the broken surface at 3:14 (between index finger and thumb tip)you can see how deep the patina reaches - that's proper old !
    all my annular and penannular brooches are made of bronze or copper and I wish they were all made of silver....
    looks also a bit like some simple oval buckles from around 500-900 that I have (except for its missing narrower strap-bar section)
