No I dont have to report them, if they had been purposely hidden then maybe, but they were a spill and not over 300 years old so they are ok to go in my little treasure box

It's dated 1897 Birmingham but i cant find the maker... yet! only other thing to note is that in my guide book it says that if the anchor is laying on its side it could be platinum? dunno about that but could be worth getting tested, good luck for the future.

The detecting God's were looking down at you today, this is one of your better hunt's
apart from the Roman coins this was my best hunt by a mile, Ive never come close to anything like the silvers I found, it was amazing :-)

They most certainly did, it was discovered in 1735 and out of interest who was the maker?
