Xbox 360 still alive as retro compatible on One and Series
This game is not aviable anymore
It took 20 years to have the exact same damn arcade version in home consoles because all the ports were remakes with "improved" but ugly art-lacking graphics.
Call me tasteless, but I rather liked the look of the Dreamcast version.
It was a real disappointment that there were no ports of Scud Race and Daytona 2 to the DC.
@@mortenpotzdidler1998 when the Dreamcast version went out I was excited because now I can practice at home to beat all the older kids at the arcade, little did I know it was going to be a completely different game than the arcade, the car felt different, the space and dimensions of the circuit, everything, better graphics? May be, arcade experience? Forget it.
@@deltakid0 I'm not disagreeing, particularly when using a controller.
I do really like the look of it, however. It's a logical upgrade to the arcade experience from that perspective.
As far as control, the only excuse/defense I could provide -- for argument's sake -- was that a number of people stated that it was tuned for a steering wheel rather than controller.
But on the controller, I agree that it felt "wrong" relative to expectations and prior releases.

J'ai été très déçu de la version dreamcast car je n'ai pas retrouvé mes sensations de l'arcade.
On dirait que les dérapages ne sont pas en fonction de notre conduite mais programmé sur des parcelles de la rouge, comme un gros bug qui m'a rebuté dès le depart.
Virtually identical, but the colors pop more on the 360. Blue is more blue, white is whiter etc

How'd you get it on the series X? Am I able to go buy it on my 360 then it varies over to series S? I can't buy it on my series S.

Thank you for the video. Very interesting actually... The shadowy contrasts on the last picture of the AM2 team are better on the 360. That's all for the only difference I noticed. So, it's still better to buy a G29 for PS3, 4 & 5 to optimize your best experience on the racing games on the 3 supports. Shame I didn't buy Out Run Online Arcade on PS3...
Really? I didn't see any difference? I'm assuming you're basing your decision off the dashboard on the vehicle? That's what I thought because obviously when you're in different areas a dash has a different contrast to it but when they both went under bridges and things like that they're practically the same? Obviously they look different if they're indifferent different parts of the track when they're playing separately on both versions

Everytime I tried playing this game in the arcade I was terrible and didn't understand it's driving mechanics.
Didn't want to waste quarters trying to figure it out. I was young enough to where my better gaming skills hadn't kicked in yet either.

Pensei que os acessórios do X360 fossem fáceis de achar, mas vendo suas explicações ai sobre os Volantes do X360 que são difíceis de se achar então nem vale a pena procurar, pq se nego vende usado deve que vende valendo um olho da cara

It was ALMOST perfect, except for the obvious lack of good anisotropic filtering on the textures which desperately need it. So you see this blurry lines on the roads continuously resolving into sharpness only a few metres in front of the car. Very distracting. Both consoles rarely had much in the way of texture filtering. it was often only properly enabled if there was performance overhead at the end of development which was not frequently the case. Luckily RPCS3 emulation runs the PS3 version and can fix it....
Can you still buy these games in either of the current-gen platforms?

Só uma correção, no 360 saíram Project gotham 3 e 4, o 1 e o 2 foram do primeiro xbox
a falta do volante no x360 foi compensada no xbox one quando esse daytona foi para retrocompatibilidade, com isso, o xbox one já possuia um volante de qualidade da logitech para poder jogar esse game.

Faltou dizer que da pra jogar vários jogos de 360 com volante nos consoles One e Series X/S, inclusive o Daytona USA.
I have both versions and prefer the 360 version. Colors really pop with 360 and the controller with the 360 works perfectly.

Amigo, voce já viu um Rack aí de Mortal Kombat do Mega que um cara tá fazendo que tá ficando muito massa? O cara tá melhorando praticamente tudo o que pode ser melhorado: cores, vozes... poderia fazer uma comparação com o original da Probe

SEGA ela é estranha , só foi fazer um PORT realmente descente pro XBOX - DO Dreamcast é bonito mas parece que estamos dirigindo uma caixa de fosforo sendo a pior jogabilidade perdendo feio ate para o 1 Daytona do Saturn .
Microsoft compre a SEGA e deixe os Códigos do Saturn aberto para que as pessoas possam realmente tirar o maximo do console /ou do dreamcast

Quality .more or less but on Xbox you have one more arcade experience with more colour on PlayStation you having one more real experience cause colours are more soft like on reality

I have this on PS3 and use my G27 wheel, force feedback gives it the best home Arcade experience. Cheeper than buying a arcade Daytona USA cab, they can cost up to 20k.. my setup about 1% of that cost. Xbox version wheel being used has no comparison to the G29.
You can play the 360 version through backwards compatibility with an Xbox One or Series X/S using a G923 or other force feedback wheel.
Even with the scalper prices on Series X, it’s still cheaper than an Arcade machine lol

If the wheel works on the PS3 then yes the force feedback should work.
Nope had a thrust master t150 and sold it to buy a g29. T150 has 1/5 of the g29 compatibility on PS3.
