Had a great response to the new demo video and I appreciate all the positive comments, I will try to reply as soon as I can. For those who asked why I painted over the canvas at the beginning, this really was meant to be a fresh canvas but due to the horrendous weather conditions I couldn't get out to buy a new one in fact half the demo was filmed during a storm, howling wind and rain lashing against the windows, easier to paint over this practice artwork. Hope you enjoyed the demo and thanks for watching.
You rock! Thanks for the great video.
Many thanks Dan. Watching you create art makes me realize how much I miss you and your art. ❤

Welcome back Dan. I know I speak for many other's, when I say that you have been much missed. I have to say that I loved the image you covered over at the beginning. I thought, "Oh no, that's lovely, I'd have bought that, had I seen it sooner".Do you remember what colour the "sand type" paint was? I'don't mean to belittle the end result of this demo at all. It has a great deal more movement in it. It's more dynamic than the first image. It reminds me of the rotating part in a machine, such as a camshaft. I didn't expect to see a demo like this so soon after you and I discussed it, thank you. I shall watch this demo several times, to get the hang of it. I always do that. This was worth waiting for,
Thanks Gordon, I appreciate the positive feedback as always. I wasn't sure how this video would be received as it's a bit of a departure from the norm. This is a style and technique that I'm really keen to explore further and it seems like the demo went down well so expect a few more. Funny you mention the sand colour because it is actually called Sand, it's from the Montana Gold acrylic spray series and there's about 200 colours, the Blue I use is called Mt Fuji, they use artistic names that make the easier to remember. I can really recommend trying them, they work on most surfaces. I still have the stencil from the first artwork so will be creating a new one.
Hi Dan. Yes, the weather has been dreadful. We have had, one flood in the cellar so far, 18 inches deep. I't''s impressive to see a crate of 20 bottles of cider floating, More so as we live a short distance fro the high part of the Pennine mountain chain, Floods are the last thing toy expect. Re: Sand colour paint ,I'll have to look around for that one. Happy New Year.
Excellent! But, you freaked me out at first when you spray painted over the first painting. Then again when you taped over the final painting to spray the edges. I’m ok though. 🤭
I'd run out of canvas, I don't do this often but I suppose it demonstrates how to recycle.
I thought... you had quit RUclips forever? How long have you been back? I re-subscribed! 🎉❤
I made 50 videos last year and most of them failed to attract viewers or subscribers, it's a little frustrating to put effort in with the channel when it seems unable to grow, I suppose I'm just out of ideas and there are plenty of other art channels available. I will continue to make videos but I don't expect them to be watched, the only way to make it worth continuing is for me to sell the original artwork from the videos on my website. Thanks for watching.
