Pro tip that really helped me: you don't have to choose between shooting the enemies and cooling the PG-240X down! You can shoot the boxes that say "agua" (the ones the faucet comes out of) and water will pour out from the holes, then just stand next to the stream and shoot the enemies and the PG-240X will cool down passively! Also use an amigo in these. Any amigo is better than no amigo.
Little tip for people struggling with these missions… It’s all about the armour you use and the supremo. Find armour that is strong in armour piercing defence, soft target defence etc… for the supremos I highly recommend the Triador with the La Varita resolver weapon you get from doing the treasure hunts. It literally allows you to shoot through walls, it’s like having hacks and you can cheese through the majority of the wave with it. Also, call in an amigo to help out (Guapo is by far the best as he self revives himself when he goes down, Oluso is also a really good option for stealth) if they don’t kill anyone, they usually distract the enemies a lot so you can get some easy kills. My specific armour set is as follows if any of you guys would like to replicate it for the end game section; Rioter Pants MK II (greatly improves armour piercing round defence), Revolutionary vest (improves soft target, blast AND armour defence), Rioter Pants MK II (Greatly improves armour defence), Soft Target Boots MK II (Greatly improves soft target defence) and last but not least Street Surgeon Gloves (Begin regenerating health sooner after taking damage) along with the La Varita resolver with the Triada supremos I’ve done pretty much all of them at mastery 3 with this outfit combo on.
My trick to counter flamethrowers was using fire repellent gear, health syringes and prioritizing them over other enemies. It's a pain in the ass to deal with them because it's either a flamethrower or an lmg that shoots incendiary bullets that heat up the bomb. My fav gear to use is the one that puts out the fire automatically. Switch between the parkour gear set for speed and the fire gear for the flamethrowers.

Also, for some reason I didn't know you can summon your companions like the crocodile. Anyone else looking for advice, put the "head shots charge your supremo" mod so that you can activate it more times.

I actually use pgx 240 poison gas as the weapon and supremo since it's a good crows control weapon
