    Hi' there from Denmark :-) Great work! I've got the DK300 and just tried to go through all the settings you've added to your page - and at first glance everything seems to work perfectly! BIG thumbs up! :-)

    you just increased the functioonality of this slider by a mile with that ping pong function !! Thank you !! literally got my dl300 because you made this pingpong effect possible. Neewer need to give you something to compensate or even probably sponsor your vid !😊

    You are a genius!
    You brought the most important function to this little amazing dolly: the ping-pong movement. Now I can film anything without a fear of smashing $3000 camera falling from the table.

    That's awesome that you've developed this interface and have shared it! Dont have a tabletop motorized dolly but makes this a plus for the dl200

    Thank you very much, this is great for the newly released DL300. Especially the missing Ping-Pong functionality is a great addition.

    This is absolutely amazing. I’ve had the DL300 and really appreciate its design but felt disappointed by the app and the exact functionality that you added here, which it lacked. I just ordered the new DL400 and found this video from another fellow who reviewed the newer model and linked your video/website. Apparently it works with the DL400 as well.
    My wish would be that this code was integrated into an app. If you did that, and made a GUI, I could totally see Neewer just buying it off you and making it their official app!
    I feel like this dolly is one of the most unrealized filming tools on the market today, perhaps in large part because it’s lacking this app.
    Awesome work though! And thank you for sharing.
    A side question: does this work on iOS phones too? I tried just now and the connect button doesn’t have any effect. Tried multiple browsers.

    • @everlasting1
      @everlasting1  Месяц назад +1

      Definitely doesn't work on iPhone or iPad as they do not allow / support Web Bluetooth in browser at all. I'm toying with the idea of an iOS app. :D

    • @junyongpak
      @junyongpak Месяц назад

      @@everlasting1 darn! That’s a huge bummer. But if you make an iOS app I will 100% buy it, whatever it ends up costing.
      On a side note: Oddly, I’m currently finding the DL400 to be not quite as useful to me as the DL300. With the motor off the gears are still engaged so you can’t really slide it smoothly manually. And maybe the worst part is that they used lightly treaded tires on the DL400 which is causing noticeable shakiness even on the most perfectly smooth surfaces. What were they thinking?!? I’m hoping a rubber band over the wheels helps.

    My Neewer DL300 should arrive around Jan 22. I'll try it and report back. My guess is the software is the same. The DL300 seems to be mainly the addition of a fourth wheel for stability with heavy cameras / lenses.

      Thanks!! I just grabbed the audio from the iPhone I was using as the camera, took one channel and used izotope noise reduction and DaVinci eq and compressor. I should have used a mic tho, it was a lot of fiddling to get it to sound good.

    when you say the app was no good.. did it still connect and work or not work at all ? i recently bought an andoer L5i three wheel dolly which is similar device.. it claims to have bluetooth but it doesnt connect.. tried a few different tablets, they can all see it under bluetooth devices but it wont pair.. im looking to get something else and considering the DL300 which probably has the same bluetooth design as the DL200 ? hence im curious if the app for the DL200 connected and worked "out of the box" ?

    • @everlasting1
      @everlasting1  10 месяцев назад

      It worked as it should, it’s just the design of the app that I found deficient! It places unnecessary restrictions on how you use it.
