I've gone through my various phases of, 'ah shit I'm out of room' and 'i don't care for this title anymore' so there's definitely been some anime I've given to friends or sold off. These days I *try* to pick up things I really enjoy or know I'll enjoy. Sometimes the impulsive side of me wins, 😅
I would love to collect more collector sets, but I've found myself to be picky the older I get. Although I do regret not picking up quite a few. Also. The UK has some wicked editions, despite the rarity. Wish anime was easier to access for everyone.
the only reason the sequel animes to Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? get hate is because the Light Novel readers expect to much of a studio to cram it all into a 13 episode season. I think the Light Novels are better but again it isn't fair to expect a true adaption unless the studio producing it is going to get more episodes per a season.
I very much agree on the difficulty when it comes to adapting light novels when there's only 13 episodes involved per season. Majority of them act like teasers for the LN, but some do get renewed which is both a blessing and a curse as it's impossible to put everything in when you're limited. But. I'm a believer in watching things for yourself so I'll see how it goes, eventually! 😅 So much on the backlog.
I like dvd but I hope I will like blu ray when I get my first Roku 4k TV my mom is going to get me at walmart when meijer credit card comes in the mail A TCL Roku 4k TV

I only collect collectors editions which do take up alot of room. Its far too easy to buy anime in the US than it is here in the UK
