All these tractors were breath taking to me. I drove 18 wheelers for 45 years and I thought they were big but these things are just massive. I like the bright green one.
Which would mean the operator(s) have to be really paying attention to minimize overlaps or skips in the tilling operation. And especially when seeding!
I was the area sales manager for CaseIH in 1990 for the San Joaquin Valley dealers. There was a Steiger customer at San Joaquin Tractor in Bakersfield - a Steiger dealer who wanted a green 9180 from Fargo - we were only selling red tractors to both CaseIH and Steiger dealers then. The dealer had the tractor painted locally and the sale was completed - seeing the green Quad Trac reminded me of that tractor.
This collection of tractors reminds me as a kid in the late 70's early 80's collecting Progressive Farmer's to get pictures of all my favorite farm equipment. Always wanted more farm equipment in the Progressive Farmer, it was like looking at a Christmas toy catalog.
I’ve always been a Steiger fan but gotta admit those big buds are pretty special as well. This was a really great episode. A good close out to a garbage year. Thank you.
Just wanted to thank you very much Jason, for bringing all your fans so much footage this year!! All of it is awesome. I farm in Ohio and I still enjoy watching other farms do their thing. I truly appreciate all your efforts. As always...... GO BTP💪💪
I love the diversity of this video, I would like to see a complete video of all the Uni system equipment available and working starting with Minneapolis Moline design, my dad had a brand new inline Minneapolis Moline baler from the early 60's that we used till 1974. I started baling hay at 7yr old on the bottom ground while my dad stacked the wagon in 1972
@@bigtractorpower that’ll be neat to see. Maybe you can find the Red version to film as well. I’m sure they’re few and far between still working but there’s bound to be a few out there.
Your videos are always awesome! I was particularly impressed with the farmer using that New Idea Uni for planting! Talk about making use of his equipment! Always very cool to see farmers using older equipment that they actually DRIVE!
The IH 4366 is my fav in this video. A local custom operator had a fleet of IH 56 & 66 series when i was growing up with their top dog being a 1973 model 4366. Biggest tractor in my area back then.
Very cool. A farm where I grew up had a 4786, 1466, two 1066s and a 656. They also had a Steiger Panther II and Panther III. All great machines to see in the field.
I have really liked watching your videos this year. Keep up the good work and hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a great New Year from east central Illinois
It was a good year BTP. You hit it out of the ball park in 2020. My wish for 2021 is for you to video the new Fendt two track that Mike Mitchell will be trialling. I think it has 800hp+.
Great group of Big tractors a special time in farming history. Would like to see them in person. I favored the last of IHC before the Tenneco merger.🇱🇷
Very cool video!!,I'm partial to the big steigers, and versatile tractors. I live about 45 minutes from where steigers were first built and about an hour to Fargo. The tour if the plant is well worth it!!.
I know im asking randomly but does anyone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the login password. I would love any tips you can offer me
@Koda Alijah Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Hi bigtractorpower how are you doing Nice to see you Thanks for uploading Big monster is back Happy New Year bigtractorpower Haven’t watched your videos in ages amazing video Hope you keeping well and stay safe
Awesome video!! Always enjoy watching different farms and equipment from different areas! If your ever around southeastern Illinois and need some extra footage let me know! Also love your toy tractor times channel!
At one time I had 6 Rite tractors, 4 were the 404 series built on the GFIW frames with k19 engines, one that was a wa17 conversion with an8v92ta and one oddball with another 8v92ta as well. I definitely preferred the k19 engine as it was better power and fuel efficiency. In the early seventies I had 2 of the IHC 4300 tractors, they had good power and hydraulics but the 6 speed automatic with lockup needed a couple more gears in the middle. Several Wagner tractors as I grew up and in 1970 two wa 17 in green John Deere when they took ownership. They were marked as wa 14 but had 17 axles and 10 speed rot fuller transmissions. Very well built tractors that are still out working. The big Rite that was built in 1984 was a 12v92ta and went to Bassano area originally. Wayne Arrison pulled 2 Yielder disc drills , 20 feet each, in a staggered hitch and with nh3 tanks behind each unit. Total rolling weight when full was over 500,000 lbs. a real bitch if you ever got it stuck.
So much cool tractors, too hard to pick favourite 😎 But that place where those Big Buds are filmed is something so beautiful and awesome looking 😍 That New Idea Uni-System is kind of funny, it could be listed on Top10 tractors, Top10 combines or Top10 forage harvesters 😄 It's very interesting piece of farming machinery.
This is very special, thanks Jason, if you came across the first articulated New Holland's, i think it is the TJ Series, will you make video of that please
That New Idea was interesting to see. The favorite though was the 2 Big Bud tractors. I'm yet to see an articulated tractor from the 1970's and 80's. One day it'll come true, and who knows, i might buy one in a year or two
Good question I actually just released a full farming season video last week. It follows a Kentucky farm from planting to harvest which includes seeding, spraying and harvesting wheat. The video is posted at ruclips.net/video/htb0WEdQQT8/видео.html
Again being a John Deere fan and operator, I am gonna have to go with the big Versatile with triples on this one. I don't really favor "tracks", I am in favor for "Tires".
The 4994 is way up on top my wish list to film. Hopefully one will turn up. There were only two or three 325 Field Boss tractors built. I think two sold in an Auction in PA a few years ago. If I could find one I would film it. 325 Field Boss was slated to be introduced in 1987 with the 185 Field Boss. In 1988 the Field Boss names was dropped and it became the Hundred Series 100, 120, 140, 160, 185. I expect the 4 wheel drive had it gone into profiting would have been the 325 in 1988.
Seems to me you forgot about the big Gian "rite 750 or rite 750 earthquake ' those were monsters with huge power, custom made...I have a pic of one with 2 no till drills (huge)..I do believe he's around red deer now
Would love to see the 747 Big Bud in real life but I suppose we'll have to wait until the world is a safer place or bring it over here to Western Australia.
Do these farmers pay for the tractors to be painted from the factory or is a third party doing it? And also, why? I mean, the stealth looks awesome but custom painting equipment seems like it would cut into your profit margin. Awesome video and channel!
I see that the Big Bud16V-747 has new tires. I remember reading that it was in desperate need of new rubber and the owners couldn't get any because the tires were specially custom-made that size and not commercially available.
The 56 and 66 series of tractors will always hold a special place in my heart. Long live IH
L ooo l be ru mmmm m
the views from the big bud video are amazing
All these tractors were breath taking to me. I drove 18 wheelers for 45 years and I thought they were big but these things are just massive. I like the bright green one.
Excellent selection once again big T 👍👍👍 the stand out for me was the Quad track in Steiger green 💚💚💚
Best thing about all these tractors no fancy electronics and GPS guidance 👍👍👍👍👍
Which would mean the operator(s) have to be really paying attention to minimize overlaps or skips in the tilling operation. And especially when seeding!
I was the area sales manager for CaseIH in 1990 for the San Joaquin Valley dealers. There was a Steiger customer at San Joaquin Tractor in Bakersfield - a Steiger dealer who wanted a green 9180 from Fargo - we were only selling red tractors to both CaseIH and Steiger dealers then. That is awesome. I visited San Joaquin Tractor In 2010. It was neat they had the Steiger and Allis-Chalmers signs up.
I have to say the Big Buds have to be my favorites
This collection of tractors reminds me as a kid in the late 70's early 80's collecting Progressive Farmer's to get pictures of all my favorite farm equipment. Always wanted more farm equipment in the Progressive Farmer, it was like looking at a Christmas toy catalog.
So cool lil bud following the big bud
I’ve always been a Steiger fan but gotta admit those big buds are pretty special as well. This was a really great episode. A good close out to a garbage year. Thank you.
Thank You.
I DID learn something new about tractors..
Thank you for watching.
For the Kenzie re-powers on the JD 50 series were any modifications needed on the transmissions to handle the extra HP?
Just wanted to thank you very much Jason, for bringing all your fans so much footage this year!! All of it is awesome. I farm in Ohio and I still enjoy watching other farms do their thing. I truly appreciate all your efforts. As always...... GO BTP💪💪
The 747 turning dirt of course! But second is the 450 tiger then third the 1150 versatile such neat big iron thanks for sharing it with us!!!

I’d like to see more Articulated tractors. Maybe a 2655 Oliver and some of the Whites. But I like seeing all colors of classics working!
I have featured the Minneapolis Moline A4T 1600 here on the channel. I hope to track down an Oliver 2655 this year. I have some clips of a 2655 LP.
@@bigtractorpower that’ll be neat to see. Maybe you can find the Red version to film as well. I’m sure they’re few and far between still working but there’s bound to be a few out there.
The green Quad Track is awesome
It is. I grew up just down the road from that farm. It’s a cool operation with lots of nice classics.
I like seeing the Big Bud its like 4 tractor's combined
Can never go wrong with more Moline Power on here!
Boy I loved pulling a ripper thru the fields. Really worked the ground up nice.
Loved the footage of the old IH 4366 and the 7288 “aardvark”.
It's aardvark, but it's vorth it...
@@andyharman3022 I have always liked the aardvarks
Big Bud a lendaaaa o Mito...
Every tractor has a history and are each unique
Fro the UK. Thanks for a great 2020, looking forward to more great footage in 2021. Have an enjoyable New Year and most of all STAY SAFE.
Am I the only one who noticed the length of this video is 20:20 😂
Big tractors means big videos
every one of his videos has the same amount of minutes and seconds. just look.
You are correct this one was timed to 2020 exactly. Most of my videos are 10-12 minutes.
Wow, I had never noticed the timing until now!
For me it is 20:19
Au top!!! Joyeuse fête !!!
I'm going to have to get you some footage of my 9250 steiger for your channel this summer

Oh yeah!!! I've been waiting on this since the comparison video of your two awesome tractors!

The Versatile 1150 and moldboard plough looks awesome.
That Steiger tiger has a certain cool factor in its nice new paint. As always very enjoyable video.🇦🇺👍

These videos make my day! Thank you for always making awesome content!
Every day there’s a new BTP video is a good day.
Great collection. I'm surprised that Big Bud 747 isn't pulling a large diesel tanker behind it as well.
It doesn't have to. It has a 1,000 gallon tank!
Very cool video!!,I'm partial to the big steigers, and versatile tractors. I live about 45 minutes from where steigers were first built and about an hour to Fargo. The tour if the plant is well worth it!!.

Nothing against any of the tractors but the two Big Buds were by far the most impressive.

Thanks. Very interesting and inform case.
I like the Mark McConnell tractor that replaced MF 5200! Always like the Green Steiger Tiger III.
Happy New Year bigtractorpower I wish you the best for 2021
Thank you. The same to you.
Ha ha the new idea 706 is so funny I thought it was combine man that was hilarious I never saw that one I love the big bud and the Massey Ferguson.
The one that has the tillage is runing smoth
I love your tractor videos :)
Always thought the Versatile colours made their tractors look great but even the black one looks good!
Some of the Rite tractors would be interesting, also the IHC 4300 tractors were ahead of the curve.
I want to film a 4300 big time. I have filmed the Rite 750 a few times. It would be neat to film more Rite 4wds.

I like the Steiger quad track
Thanks for the awesome video. About the New Idea machine in the video, was this the farmer’s primary machine for planting?
Thanks for your time.

Yes the 706 is his main planter and harvester.
So much cool tractors, too hard to pick favourite 😎

That New Idea Uni-System is kind of funny, it could be listed on Top10 tractors, Top10 combines or Top10 forage harvesters 😄

The 706 Uni is unique. Handy machine that did not catch on.
Great thanks for sharing

Great movie Big Bud
This is very special, thanks Jason, if you came across the first articulated New Holland's, i think it is the TJ Series, will you make video of that please
Thank you for these videos. They are absolutely terrific! A neat tractor to see would be a Challenger MT975E. Another would be a Challenger 1050.
Come to alabama and film our new low profile john deeres running inside poultry barns
I watch everyone of your videos & enjoy them very much
This tractor is a monster 👹

Hi! Do you happen to have a video on the entire process of growing a wheat field? Like from plowing all the way to harvesting?
Good question I actually just released a full farming season video last week. It follows a Kentucky farm from planting to harvest which includes seeding, spraying and harvesting wheat. The video is posted at ruclips.net/video/htb0WEdQQT8/видео.html

Insane machineries
Can you do a long compilation video of big tractors plowing? They make nice noises that are good to fall asleep by.
Again being a John Deere fan and operator, I am gonna have to go with the big Versatile with triples on this one. I don't really favor "tracks", I am in favor for "Tires".
Happy New Year from Washington Court House, Ohio
I’d love to see some 3020 diesel tractors in use
I filmed two plowing last month.
I love the 9000 models from new holland made in the 90s.
It is possible to see some case 4994 on the field or White 4-325 ... tank you

Are you saving the video of the McConnell Marc 1000 field cultivating for later?
Not until April 2021. People will not watch machines working out of season. I have piles of videos like that one not published yet.
these tractor are still manufactured?
what website do they have to sell?
Have u been to Australia we could hook u up with some good machines
Awesome
0:01 🤪😵😍 Best BEAST !!! The biggest tractor i see me in Italy is The Case Quadtrac 600 in America is not Rare but in Italy is very rare . 😀

How many rpms is the first tractor turning
I will have to ask.
The Big Buds are huge tractors.
Am I wrong or did you have your own 80s John Deere and IH pulling Sunflower harrows?
Cool vid
66 series with rollover plows (9 or 1066 with a 140 4-18)!!
You must have picked up a big bud 17V-747 toy 1/64 scale tractor for your son when you were up in Montana. I ordered one and had it shipped to me.
The 8850 john deere didn't even know that the little chisel plow was hooked up. Was this the 400 or 450 hp ?
I'd like to see a video on that John Deere 14-bottom plow that was pulled by that lime green tractor. I'm not even going to try and spell it!!!
You are in luck. I just happen to have posted that video. You can see it at ruclips.net/video/bWO9R5eEwKQ/видео.html
You sure the Versatile pulling a 10 bottom or 12? The first Versatile.
