The UNITAS Kofu campus opened in 2017 and offers students modern settings within which they can learn Japanese. Located in Kofu, the school is close to Japan's iconic Mt Fuji and is close enough to Tokyo for students to make a day trip if they wish.
Not only do UNITAS Kofu staff all speak English, they also offer students support in job hunting and higher education.

Very interesting! are you planning to show more about Kofu and the School? The city and the school has a very "family" vibe i really like that compared to Tokyo or other big citys. I would be very happy if gogonihon could show us more about Kofu :D
I'm graduating highschool this month, and I hope to work for a year to be able to afford studying Japanese, and UNITAS is the school I'd love most to go to! I agree with the people who noted that Kofu isn't a busy city like Tokyo, but rather more calm while still being a great experience in Japan. I hope to apply for either July or October 2022!

I have a question. If the teacher explains the material in Japanese, how do students without knowledge of the language understand it? Or do you need to know the basics?
Hi Ilya! It is best to know Hiragana and Katakana in order to understand the study materials in a language school. Once you know Hiragana and Katakana, your next step is to learn the basic grammar and elementary kanji! :)

Hola Genial vídeo!, siempre me ha interesado ir a estudiar a Japón, pero siempre he tenido problemas para tramitar la visa, soy colombiano, y en la pagina de la embajada de Japón de aqui no me dan mucha información útil que digamos, es mas incluso me han informado que los colombianos incluso para estudiar solo podemos estar 30 días en Japón, y 30 días para estudiar me parece muy poco tiempo, quisiera saber si eso es cierto, me lo podrían confirmar por favor?, o informarme de como esta la situación para estudiar y tramitar la visa de estudiante para los colombianos?, lo agradecería mucho. they speak Portuguese?
School staff and teachers usually only speak Japanese and maybe English, but our staff is happy to support you in Portuguese to connect you with the school and help with the visa process 👍🏻
