    I use a MOX8 and you left out some of the best features of the MOX keyboards...Its an awesome audio interface to your PC via USB audio it has ZERO lag when recording external and internal sounds through the USB audio to the PC the MOX can also be used as an effects unit for external audio sources like guitars or mics...Its an amazing keyboard.

    Your list seems a bit outdated.
    For ex, you include the 10 yeaars old Kurzweil PC3K but omit the newer PC4 model.
    Same thing for Yamaha: No mention of the Montage's cheaper and newer alternative: the ModX?

      This video does not reflect the real picture at all. There are five top-class keyboard instruments today:
      Yamaha Montage
      Korg Kronos
      Roland Fantom
      Nord Stage 3
      Kurzweil K2700
      And this is not some kind of subjective assessment, but a real picture of the products.

    The Kurzweil PC3K series is quite old and discontinued. Their newest workstation, the K2700 is much better and does rank up with the Fantom and Montage. Note that the Kronos has also been discontinued, but Korg hasn't introduced a true replacement for it yet. Also, in the lower-priced range, the new Roland Fantom-0 series (like the Fantom-08) is very competative with the Yamaha MODX and should be compared by anyone buying in this price/size range. I'm also surprised that you didn't include the Nord Stage (or any Nords, for that matter) in a list of "Professional" instruments. You'll see a lot more Pros playing Nords than Casios.

      Now, a bit later, the Montage 8 has been replaced by the Montage 8M-X And the Fantom 8 with the slightly updated Fantom 8 EX. And, for the moment, the replacement for the Korg Kronos is the Korg Nautilus. So all three of the top workstations here are out of date;.

      Genos is the upgraded Tyros - keyboard which is not a synthesize or work station. It is completely different segment than presented above. Of course I do not say it is bad keyboard because I was playing on many Yamaha keyboards starting with PSR400, PSR500, PSR600 in the early 90' :), then PSR E413, Piagero NP V80, MOX6 :). in 2015 I tried Roland F X8 and stopped with Kronos 1 73. Since one year I am happy owner of the K2 88 and can say: everyone can find something good in each presented product as well as can be disappointed because were looking for completely different experience.

    • @lgvdbroek
      @lgvdbroek 2 года назад +2

      @@delta110a The title of the upload is about keyboards and not just synthesizers.
      So the Genos, which incidentally has been marketed as a workstation, certainly belongs in this list.
      These kinds of videos are and will always be the opinion of one person.
      luckily the tastes differ after all.

    • @delta110a
      @delta110a 2 года назад

      @@lgvdbroek I could agree in some point however: Kronos is a work station, Roland Phantom is a work station, Yamaha MOXF is a synthesizer /arranger, Roland Juno-DS61 -synth/work station. Following this logic the title "Best Professional Music Keyboard" is wrong it should be changed for Keyboards, Synthesizers and Work Stations and nobody would have issues with this. Some of them are discontinued so I understood the list is related what is the best in 2022 even it is hard to buy (some stock or second hand). Keyboard/arranger - mostly is using auto chords (left hand) and solo (played by right hand) . Pre-sets give huge flexibility and you can start to play after connecting device to the power. Work stations and Synthesizers require some knowledge as well they are used in completely different way . Anyway you are right - depends what is used by whom then there will be different opinion. When I used Yamaha - for me they were good, when moved to Roland - they were better and finally when started adventure with Korg - it's the best (so far) but it's my opinion :) . Take care :)

    For me the Korg Kronos is still the best. I have a Kronos2 73. I could haven chosen all other synths.
    I don't consider the Roland FA as a pro synth. It has great features, but it sounds as thin as a budget Juno synth, like the DS. The Kurzweils look like 20 year old instruments. And they sound too dark. Yamaha MO synths are budget synths, so the same story as the Roland FA. The Korg Kross is even cheaper and cheaper sounding. You can't take a Casio WK seriously. Even a cheap Yamaha PSR keyboard sounds better. Also I wouldn't take the Casio PX on stage, since it lacks dynamic sound quality.

    Needs to be a distinction of what constitutes a "workstation" as opposed to a "synthesiser" A workstation (in essence) are those such as the Roland Fantom G series, Yamaha Motif series, Korg Kronos series. These all have built in a fully spec sequencers that have the ability to start a project from start to finish. These days, a synthesiser will have a basic "pattern sequencer" that can be triggered in various ways, but the editing side is VERY basic. Like the Yamaha Montage, MODx, Roland Fantom (current), etc. These are classified as "Synthesisers" NOT workstation. If you don't believe me, check out their manuals.

    You need to tweak the inflection parameters of that TTS. Might also be a good idea to add DAW to the pronunciation dictionary so that it pronounces it properly instead of spelling it out because nobody says it that way. Your script was well-written though. Even had slang and everything. I don’t think anybody who hasn’t spent a lifetime around TTS engines would easily tell that that’s not a real narrator.

    My Fantom G6/7 is still much better than the "new" Fantom with its badly integrated or better patched together sampler and sequencer. The Fantom G is a fully integrated workstation that can control 16 additional MIDI expanders or synths. 48 fully integrated sampler tracks make it perfect to create a whole song with all details and processing. It may lack a bit of effects capabilities, but you can compensate with external stuff that goes back into the machine during mix down. It's professionally built and the ARX-02/03 cards produce perfect E-Pianos and Brass. If you buy a used Fantom G, you have enough money left to buy an iPad or Integra 7 (SRX boards)& System-8 (ACB Juno/Jupiter VA).
    Not all new stuff is better than the old.

    Not an objective analysis at all. MOXF? Seriously? At a time when MODX has been around for a long time. Kurzweil PC3K? Seriously? At a time when there is already a Kurzweil K2700. I understand that your goal is to sell, and not to give an objective truthful assessment, but you should not reach such a level of lies. Korg Kross? Seriously? It can not claim the title of the best keyboard instruments. I won’t talk about others either, otherwise there’s too much text. And if you're talking about the best, why didn't you mention Nord Stage 3?
    And the best top-class keyboard instruments in 2022 are:
    Yamaha Montage
    Korg Kronos
    Roland Fantom
    Nord Stage 3
    Kurzweil K2700
    And others do not exist in nature.
