I think his hat turned out brilliantly, well done. If I find some time I might have to try one of these dolls with one change.... I think I'd work in the round and see how that turns out. Thanks for sharing!
@@crochetingaroundnewzealand LOL, yeah the 'fixed' ones arent great they tend to twist and curve whatever way tickles their fancy... I am fortunate enough to have some Chiaogoo interchangeable needles and the cords have no memory, so they dont drive you crazy lol. I cant do DPNs, though I have tried.
@@crochetingaroundnewzealand just avoid any cable needles which have a tube instead of a cord... the tubes drop off the needles eventually so a waste of money. It is an investment for sure buying an interchangeable set. I think best way to go is to buy fixed cable needles which have a very long cord... that way they can be used for small to large projects, just by using the magic loop method.
@ByHookorbyNeedles I'd probably only use the one size for socks but the sets do look lovely. I do suggest starting with my snowman tutorial or the boy izzy tutorial as they're much easier than paddington and then moving up as he was a bit more complicated at times.
such a clever pattern - my grandkids would love this one
I'll be uploading the video of how I've made the suitcase soon 🥰

@@ByHookorbyNeedles yes they can be done in the round. I struggle with those "demented snake wire needles " 🤣

@ByHookorbyNeedles I only use them to knit socks cos I couldn't afford wool ones last year so learnt to make my own lol maybe I need some fancy ones!
