What do you think of the formulation of the product Edenskin Ride The Tide Healing Moisturizer? It's formulated with ceramides, cholesterol, and other good ingredients, but the thing is it has 3% niacinamide placed 8th from the last ingredient, meaning that the preceding ingredients including the ceramides are all at least 3% or greater than that. Ingredients: Aqua, Caprylic Triglyceride, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, C15-19 Alkane (Plant Based & Renewable), Ceramide II, Glycerin, Ceramide III, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cholesterol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Snail Mucin, Niacinamide, Sodium PCA, Squalene, Amniotic Fluid, Hyaluronic Acid, Allantoin, Phenoxyethanol, EDTA
Solid detective work. I couldn't find an official INCI to verify but I would not expect the product to have more than 3% ceramides. I'd guess it has much much less and is being listed based on the ceramide blend amount, not the actual concentration amount. I hope what I wrote makes sense!
@@ChemistConfessions No, that totally makes sense to me. I thought it was too good to be true if each of the ceramides (and potentially other skin-beneficial ingredients like cholesterol) was equal to or greater than 3%. Thank you so much for answering!
