One of the most inspiring stories ever to exist within the Naruto series is the story of Rock Lee. Rock Lee was a young man who, though he had the drive and passion to be a shinobi, did not possess the necessary control over his chakra to make use of any Jutsu. Due to this, he trained day in and day out to become stronger to no avail. It was then that a particular Jonin who could identify with him took Lee under his wing and taught him the unique and powerful Eight Gates Technique. The concept was that instead of molding one’s chakra to make use of Ninjutsu, one could open the gates and limiters within their bodies that could then allow that chakra to flow through with enough intensity to allow a shinobi to surpass their body’s physical limits and take on super human strength, speed, and agility. It was through use of this technique that Rock Lee became a legend and proved that anyone can be a shinobi if they have a strong enough will. But the entire time I watched this, I could not help but wonder, what if Naruto were like that? What if he couldn’t make use of his chakra? What if Naruto knew the Eight Gates Formation?

I would love to see a part 2 of this very soon. Rock lee and his abilities have always been one of my favourite parts in og Naruto so I would love to see the rest of the story pans out. Maybe he still meets jariya and learns rasengan. It would be cool to see how the 8 gates and the rasengan can overlap.

I love this idea, mostly because Naruto, being naruto, would 100% train with gai and lee if he'd met them earlier
What if the leaf had a better training system? Most jonin have heavily specialized skills, and it would have been better if the jonin swapped teams as to create more well rounded ninja. Imagine kiba adding fire nature or even wind to his attacks, naruto combining 8 gates and Chakra cloak, or Sakura being useful earlier in the series 😂
This is the most justice done to Might Guy. Well done, Amagi.

What if Naruto was never on team 7, is till date my favourite what if video. This is a redo on that, this was not as good tho. In that the fact that naruto could stack his jutsu with 8 gates was very fun to watch. If possible, please include such broken stuff in this too. Jus feels good yk.

I was expecting the story to be a little different from what I had in mind, but this story where Lee and Naruto switching roles is great. I honestly thought the intended story was "What if Naruto had the Eight Inner Gates on top of his other abilities." I'm even curious in another story about how Naruto incorporated some techniques from the rest of the "Konoha 11/12?"

Hey Amagi. With that last remark on the comparisons to Kaio Ken and the 8 gates. I have a what if idea.
What if naruto had something Akin to a Saiyan transformation. In his case. His hair turning red through his Uzumaki bloodline. Granting him full access to the benefits of being an Uzumaki as well as the usual multipliers seen in dragon ball. Sounds like an idea worth exploring ^^
That could work if they made it like the kaioken where he would need to train for better multipliers so he won't solo everything

Hey amagi I reawatched your what if aang was a shinobi and you said you might make an episode on if naruto was in avatar. I really like this idea and I feel like this could be a good old few hour long story that people put on in the background. So please can you make it.
BTW I'm not a storyteller, but speaking of this storyline, maybe you could telaport Sasuke and naruto (pre time skip) on each team. Like naruto on aangs team and Sasuke on Zukos ship crew. (I'm not sure it's a suggestion) oh and regardless of what I said just now could you start this in book one.

8 Gates seems to be based off the real world concept of Hysterical Strength (Like how you your jaw has enough force to bite off your own tongue, but you dont do that)

Given his personality I truly wonder if Guy was secretly supporting Naruto without his knowledge. I can see him punishing villagers who intended to harm Naruto as he grew up. Even if that was technically Kakashi’s job I’d still wouldn’t be surprised to see Guy suddenly show up when a pair of Chūnin show up at Naruto’s house intending to kill him to “protect” the village from a second Kurama attack.
