I believe any woman can compete with a guy at any level as long as physical confrontation isn't involved, say like football, hockey, fighting.

NASCAR drivers are in the safest cars in the world, it's only when NASCAR doesn't put a safer barrier on every inch of the track that puts drivers in danger, Kyle Busch only got f'd up real bad cuz he hit a wall without the safer barrier
If women were made for racing we'd have found out by now, they do not have the natural aggression of men, the courage of men or the split second timing of men they are far more indecisive than men on average and at 200 mph that matters.....the total points for women in F1 is the almost laughably impossible sum of....half a point. They need to stop blaming men for the fact of being born female. 20.000 years of warfare, hunting and sport explains why men and women are different..
Michelle Mouton is the best female driver on the planet who nearly won a championship in the most insane era of WRC rally racing the world has ever seen, the era of Group B created some of the most legendary drivers to have ever blessed the automotive sports scene in a time where there was no talk of inclusivity and diversification for females to piggy back off of, this was an era where cars practically had no restrictions in terms of displacement and power and drivers and the fans where getting killed because of it, in fact it got so insane that they had to do away with that category completely because of it and the FIA started heavily restricting car manufacturers since that point on ... compared to Michelle, Danica is a marketing fever dream Michelle however is an A list driver and the best with a pair of ovaries to have ever done it, thats who you should be asking what its like to be a competitive female racer ...
@dacoup5955, Michele Mouton did one typical auto race in her entire career and vowed to never do another one. 1975 24 hours LeMans race. Although she won her class, she finished 24th overall.
Hell, you are the best of 5 women in NASCAR. You blow chunks in open wheeled racing because there are no “bumpers”. Racing is about precision…. Not ramming.
Still the absolute, undisputed "QUEEN of CRASH"... Danica Patrick had as much business in a NASCAR race car as a pot head high school drop out doing brain surgery in an operating room!!!
Let me start by saying I don't follow racing. Now that I got that out of the way, I remember two things about Patrick's first year in NASCAR: 1. A fellow racer complaining that because she is smaller than her competitors, she had an unfair advantage. After all, lighter means less fuel consumption and less energy to accelerate. - My thought was: "Lose weight big guy." 2. A fellow racer complaining about the attention she was getting. - My thought was: "Dude, she is bringing in new spectators into the sport. More spectators means more money for her....and you."
And it never mattered how terribly overmatched she was, because of the examples you gave. Next they’ll put a meth fueled chimpanzee behind the wheel (and it may cause fewer altercations).
@EverettBurger, WRONG. All the cars must weigh the same, including with the driver. Thus, weight is added to the car when the driver weighs less than 200 pounds, PUTZ.

..and now it's known why she was never a race winning driver: she admits she's not a daredevil, and not brave. The best drivers have skill, talent...and aren't afraid to take a risk.
notice that when theyre actually talking about her racing methods or specific things thatve happened to her on the track, no one is mentioning that shes a woman? Literally everyone can drive with potentially equal skill, and no one in this video is debating that. Their talking about the stigma that surrounds women in racing as a sport, ie the attitude towards them on and off the track. Theyre in effect saying that the attitude towards women is what is keeping them out of racing, not any common perception about their skill
It's just not that simple. Drafting open wheel cars at over 200 MPH is extremely dangerous and very hard to do. Anyone who demonstrated the skill and bravery to compete and win in Indy cars is in a very exclusive club. At that level of competition, winning or not winning comes down to very small differences in your car, your set up, and timing your moves.
@@brennangirl "winning or not winning comes down to very small differences in your car, your set up, and timing your moves" I think that sums it up well. She was fast enough to be well in top 10 for 6 years straight in the championship, but perhaps didn't get a handle on those small differences to become a regular winning driver.
We compensate for everything we encounter on so many issues.. I am the youngest of a litter of 6 kids, and the only one of a masculine gender. The result of this peculiar situation was that I was promoted to drill instructor at the age of 21.. And I never answer questions about what I think. That would spell your doom.
Yea i agree, she's done more in her "field/career" then a lot of us. Are You the TOP .05% in your profession? No? does that mean if you are top 10% in the field your opinion/experience is dismissed? Yes, she's a women.. i am Asian... if there's an Asian sign up here to make more money job out there? I am there with my hands out. Gimme Dat Sweet $$$ For my Born with Luckyness!
I am still seeing top 10 finishes (at least some in her career). As far as not earning her position, if she races and qualifies for the race and is able to finish the race.. Then she is competing. Sure, her gender does captivate sponsors and i am sure got people taking a second glance at nascar but.. what does that have to do with her not earning her race position ( i assume being a driver). I don't really know that much about the racing community and i assume there's "well, the guy she beat out the job for is a better racer but b/c her $ on her being a women is more marketable, she won the job." I guess you could make that argument for any job, "yes bob is a better candidate then jill... but Bob is a dick." Plus jill is good looking.. HIRED! WHoooooooo welcome to murica!
Think she is a badass and weak minded people like to pick at her for doing things. Most of those baby men that get mad at her where the ones financially backed by rich parents at young age
This is the truth right here. It's not the fact that she is a women it's the fact that she was a sup-par racer that got promoted above others because she is a women who was willing to use her looks to advance her career. Yes sex sells and many teams need company's sponsorship to get by but considering that racing is a sport many of a the fans want to see the best of the best out there competing. Go Daddy wanted Danica as their spokes person and so would back her with huge amounts of money so that some teams just couldn't say no to signing her. What a lot of people have to understand is that happens all the time in elite sports all around the world. Some athletes excel at a sport and are promoted because of their talents and some athletes are promoted because of backers that want to see them competing at the highest level. When a sport is so lucrative that money out weights the competition this will always happen. The greatest example is in F1. There are drivers in that championship who are backed by millionaires, multi-national companies and even countries governments. They don't have the skill level and talent of other drivers but because they can bring millions of dollars to a team they are signed. There are also talented drivers that probably should be driving in F1 but for what ever reason they can't get the backing to get them into a team. It sucks and in my mind detracts from the competition but when money is King it will always happen.
There actually is a fair amount of physicality in a race car. Those cars don't have all the amenities (such as power steering or AC) that normal cars do. So you really have to turn the wheel hard, the seats aren't particularly comfortable, and by the time you're done you'll a complete ball of sweat. There's a reason drivers often need help getting out of their cars after they've finished numerous laps. Is it as physical as football or basketball or soccer? No, it's not, but it's also not as easy or simple as driving a normal everyday vehicle.
Couldn't be further from the truth. There are few sports more physically and mentally challenging than racing. Often you are racing over two hours, many times without a break, often in temperatures well over 100 degrees, while having to maintain COMPLETE FOCUS and strain to hold your head up due to the G forces.

she sounds like a competitor to me and not winner. The whole i build up to the limit of the car a true winner when it comes to racing takes the car beyond the limit and then goes ok thats as far as I can take it ad then reigns it in a bit.
Danica's biggest mistake was moving from Indy to Nascar. She was pretty good (far better than average) in Indy however her greed and ego led her to Nascar where she really faltered and sullied her reputation. I think the public would have a completely different opinion of Danica had she stayed in Indycar where, given the right equipment, she had the ability to be competitive. After all, she spent her entire career racing open wheel and had the most experience in that category. Nascar is a totally different beast and requires a different skill set from a driving pov.
AWWWW Danica never had a bad car .... she was mediocre driver at best !!! More females should be in motorsports the difference is and would be .... is that other females would actually be good and aggressive and not blame other drivers for their own mistakes and lack of talent
@@brennangirl -- Close does not count for anything in racing. She really sucked, badly, both ways. Some people will never see it.
How does everyone else treat you? Lol dont look in the comments.
People she knows. The comments are breed different
It would be nice if Joe freaking put a link to the full podcasts in the description... like seriously, can't find it was it deleted?
It will be on Spotify, still free! They paid him a ton of money to go on Spotify.
would've been a better interview if he'd had Kyle Petty on at the same time... 😅
really love her !!
Look up Jay Mohr and Dana.....Jay does a classic roast on her at an awards show...
"At MY level?" well sure and are there any that win?
Joe Rogans wife watching all the female interviews 🤨
Formula 1> nascar
Anakin Cloutwalker not even a comparison. A better comparison is Indy Car
In nascar, we do this really cool thing. It’s called having fun.

She wasnt the only woman in NASCAR racing history.do your reasearch.
Sadly she doesn't have much talent in stock cars, and most of her career has been based around her being a women. 5 years, 190 races at one of the top teams and only has 7 top 10 finishes and no wins.
Brozilla True she was an awesome Indy driver ill at least give her that.
Brozilla I completely agree with you. She also wasn't even a consistent driver. I couldn't tell you without looking it up but I'm sure she ranked high in the amount of DNF's along with the amount of wrecks she caused. However, I still have respect for what she has accomplished and for committing her life to the sport. To be the first woman in Nascar and to get recognized and sometimes compete is a big stepping stone for the sport. I believe any woman can compete with a guy at any level as long as physical confrontation isn't involved, say like football, hockey, fighting.
I think she would have done better had she started with a full season in Trucks and then moved up from there. I didn't know why Kyle or Brad didn't pick her up for their teams .
Still more than me.
How come there aren't tonnes of chicks racing then? If you can build a whole career on just being a woman, surely there'd be way more.
Where is the cheeseburgers?
Joe doesn’t get how safe the race cars are
Danica is simply awesome!
Andrew Erntell Just not a racing.
Awesome at kissing the wall
@@richardeast3328Far better than you could ever be.
Look up her crash compilations on youtube. She was walking more than driving in nascar.. and her attitude was so cringe!!
She did really suck at it.
Brave is when you do despite the fear. Racing is normal to her, it was a slow build up since she was 10. I get when Danica says she isnt brave.
This girl can’t stand being passed by a girl. Cool
i bet DP's hair always smells good.
She was fast qualifying . But she was HORRIBLE at actually racing…
NASCAR drivers are in the safest cars in the world, it's only when NASCAR doesn't put a safer barrier on every inch of the track that puts drivers in danger, Kyle Busch only got f'd up real bad cuz he hit a wall without the safer barrier
Jesus Christ that is an attractive woman
she was always crashing
I don't even have a car but it seems like everyone in this comment section is a formula 1 driver.
That's odd, because she races in Indy cars and in NASCAR. No wonder you don't own a car, probably have trouble identifying one.
Damn you, bob! There you go being logical again…
They dont wanna get passed by girl!! Watch crash videos thats the truth!!
Find someone that loves you as much as she loves walls!
How many races have you done?
That is some funny shit, Ryan!
A meth fueled chimpanzee could crash less than that tw*t did!
Danica, I'm a methodical driver too!
The woman had no feel for how a stock car handles. I'm glad she got out of racing alive.
Hell, you are the best of 5 women in NASCAR. You blow chunks in open wheeled racing because there are no “bumpers”. Racing is about precision…. Not ramming.
He didn’t slam into ya
He didn’t bump ya
He didn’t nudge ya
He rubbed ya
And rubbing son is racing
I don't see you doing half of what she can do

I promise you, Cody Schoonover can drive like a meth fueled chimpanzee, just like Ms. Patrick did.
Still the absolute, undisputed "QUEEN of CRASH"...
Danica Patrick had as much business in a NASCAR race car as a pot head high school drop out doing brain surgery in an operating room!!!
Shame she left Indycar, she was genuinely competitive and not especially crash-prone back then
So true, Steve. A chimp on meth may have been able to drive better!
@stevemason5173, far better than you could ever do, PUTZ.
Let me start by saying I don't follow racing. Now that I got that out of the way, I remember two things about Patrick's first year in NASCAR:
1. A fellow racer complaining that because she is smaller than her competitors, she had an unfair advantage. After all, lighter means less fuel consumption and less energy to accelerate.
- My thought was: "Lose weight big guy."
2. A fellow racer complaining about the attention she was getting.
- My thought was: "Dude, she is bringing in new spectators into the sport. More spectators means more money for her....and you."
simp confirmed
And it never mattered how terribly overmatched she was, because of the examples you gave. Next they’ll put a meth fueled chimpanzee behind the wheel (and it may cause fewer altercations).
@EverettBurger, WRONG. All the cars must weigh the same, including with the driver. Thus, weight is added to the car when the driver weighs less than 200 pounds, PUTZ.
Danica "I never do anything wrong" Patrick
Hahaha zero wins in Nascar. Only if there was a trophy for dnf's. She would be the best.
She loved contact, especially with out intention, LOL!
This was a great watch...🤔✨👍, I really like Danica Patrick the way she talked in this interview she really feels comfortable with you Joe that's why you're so f****** awesome Danica is a rare breed and she deserves a lot more credit and respect but there's so many dudes on that racetrack who have more mental identity disorders and egos 🥺, I am so proud of Danica not that she needs me to be proud of her she is just a monster lady just full of enthusiasm and a passion that leads her life I think women should look at this lady a little bit closely she's a real woman God bless you Danica thank you Joe for putting on Danica this was a great watch God bless America go Danica you rule..💪🏎️😎✨🇺🇸🗽😇🌟....
..and now it's known why she was never a race winning driver: she admits she's not a daredevil, and not brave.
There's a lot of haters in here lol. Most of you couldn't touch her in driving.
all
Yea i agree, she's done more in her "field/career" then a lot of us.
I don't really know that much about the racing community and i assume there's "well, the guy she beat out the job for is a better racer but b/c her $ on her being a women is more marketable, she won the job."
I guess you could make that argument for any job, "yes bob is a better candidate then jill... but Bob is a dick."
Plus jill is good looking.. HIRED! WHoooooooo welcome to murica!
>her
That's a man baby!
Vinh Ky I watch nascar and when she raced her teammates always got top 5’s or 10’s each week and she got in the 20’s each week
there's a reason she (and women in general) lose so many races.. men just take more risk... it's why auto insurance for men is higher than women.
Maybe just a little different skill level, too (?)
She's dating Aaron Rodgers
YDINO Ok....
another publicity hookup
Hopefully she likes him as much as she likes hitting walls for no reason.
Think she is a badass and weak minded people like to pick at her for doing things. Most of those baby men that get mad at her where the ones financially backed by rich parents at young age
simp confirmed
Except that she drove like a meth fueled chimpanzee.
I don’t relate to the “cultural norm” of girls not being as good in a MOTOR SPORT.
This isn’t a physical competition! The car is doing the work….
No, it's not, but it's also not as easy or simple as driving a normal everyday vehicle.
dead wrong
Couldn't be further from the truth. There are few sports more physically and mentally challenging than racing. Often you are racing over two hours, many times without a break, often in temperatures well over 100 degrees, while having to maintain COMPLETE FOCUS and strain to hold your head up due to the G forces.
Yet she was still able to execute maximum mayhem and devastation in almost every race. She only got a pass on sucking due to her possession of an overrated flesh taco. What an entitled c*nt.
Everything she said in this interview is a clear indication as to why she failed in NASCAR
@jcfromkpt, she was not a failure in NASCAR. Far better than you could ever do, also, PUTZ.
@sergeantmasson3669 Why is that the immediate defense? "ShE did MoRE tHaN YoU in NAscAr!" 🙄 That is the weakest defense when you can't name anything that she accomplished. She had really good equipment with minimal results. Avg finish of 24th. Best pts finish of 24th. That's awful numbers for the hype and marketing put behind her. She was awful, and I was a supporter of hers. She flashed, but has more DNF's than top 10's
@@jcfromkpt Not my problem that you're too ignorant to do research on your own and comprehend stats/facts. 2013 Daytona 500 pole winner. Only female to lead a Daytona 500 and an Indy 500. Only female to lead 133 laps in NASCAR. Danica was better in NASCAR than the previous 118 female drivers since 1949. None better since her either. What's your success in pro-level motorsports racing?
@@jcfromkpt WRONG. Do the research, PUTZ.
@@jcfromkpt Mark Twain was right. "No amount of evidence will persuade an idiot."
she sounds like a competitor to me and not winner. The whole i build up to the limit of the car a true winner when it comes to racing takes the car beyond the limit and then goes ok thats as far as I can take it ad then reigns it in a bit.
Danica is spit on a 100 all the way.
Oh for Christ sake
AWWWW Danica never had a bad car .... she was mediocre driver at best !!! More females should be in motorsports the difference is and would be .... is that other females would actually be good and aggressive and not blame other drivers for their own mistakes and lack of talent
Exactamundo. The tw*t sucked, both ways.
Did she ever actually win a race?
Japan in Indy car IIRC.
She also qualified well at the Indy 500 more than once and came close to winning that race at least once. She can drive.
@@brennangirl -- Close does not count for anything in racing. One win where everyone else pulled off the track and close in a couple of Indy 500's if you define close and being near the finish at some point in the last 25% of the race. She believes and wants to believe she is better than everyone and she obviously believes that other girls are judged just because of being a females but not her. She is so full of herself. I hope she learns kindness specially because it will help her thoughout her life.
Exactly! And she’ll never admit that she drove like a meth fueled chimpanzee.
