Here’s a few “What if Joffrey survived?” “What if Jaime left the Kingsguard prior to the War of the Five Kings?” “What if Ned told Jon of his lineage BEFORE Jon left for The Wall?” “What if Renly survived?” “What if Khal Drogo invaded before Dany got her dragons?” “What if Robert refused to marry Cersei?”
What if the night king had been the one to resurrect John Snow? What What if Oberon Martel lived after the fight? What if Danny was found and brought to King's Landing and had to marry Joffery? What if Rhaegar is alive? WHat if Danny and Drogos baby lived? What if Danny went to Asshai when Quaith told her there were answers there?
I'm new here and am enjoying your theories. I do have one or two ideas: 1. What if Lysa Arryn agrees to help Robb Stark? 2. What if Cersei's plan to blow up The Great Sept backfires? No pun intended honestly! 😅😇 3. What if Gendry was voted king instead of Bran?
Yes, the only thing they would disagree on would be the children and burning people, Petyr would shit himself and rage since now he's stuck with the Lannisters and the vale will be harder to control if ned lives, renly might just side with stannis due to the basic math that assumedly ned brings 3 kingdoms even if in practice it's only 2 that's still a lot more than stannis had in cannon and the Lannisters are surrounded, and balon and the greyjoys won't have time to fuck it all up
I feel like Rob had the same problem. They were both too proud and trusting to play the part. It’s a shame. I feel like you have to be kind of a snake to play the Game Of Thrones lol
One “what if” I’ve always pondered about is what if Littlefinger didn’t betray Ned Stark in the throne room? And similarly, what if Ned accepted Renly’s offer of a hundred swords to strike while the castle sleeps? Either one would’ve had him avoiding a false treason confession.
Problem is, Littlefinger has wanted Ned dead since they were young because of Kate and his entire character is rooted in that obsession. Him helping Ned would require Ned never having been wed to Kate and there being some profit in that help having been provided or Littlefinger getting Sansa's hand out of it, which Ned would never agree to. Then again, perhaps after seeing Jeoffrey's true character first hand, Ned might prefer Sansa to be with someone who cares for her than the sadist on the throne. Maybe if Littlefinger somehow managed to earn Ned's respect, it might be possible... but I have no idea how Littlefinger would ever pull off that magic trick. He's great at lies, scheming, and taking advantage of chaos but not really at anything Ned would deeply respect.
Definitely would love to see the what if of Med accepting Renly’s arguments about “who cares about the line of succession, whats right for the people?”
Here a suggestion what if Robb had informed Edmure Tully of his overall plan in regards to trapping Tywin's army in the Westerlands. That way Edmure won't decide to take a mill, and screw up Robbs plan.

What if Robb and the Starks won and survived the war (including allying with Drone and aiding them in their vengeance). To be honest, Robb would've been a far better king than Stannis ever could've been.
Upon his escape neds bannerman still decide they want their kingdom back. Ned offers to support stannis with the agreement the borth is independent, stannis refuses. Renley agrees to those terms and his army combined with the north crush stannis. The reminder of the houses loyal to stannis pledge to renley. With ned back he his made king in the north. Tyrion helps sansa escape and bargins for his life and the life of tommen and his sister. The people begin to starve and Kings landing falls....thoughts?
@@858dave2 interesting, I don’t see Ned ever wanting to accept being king of the north though and I don’t think Nedd would ever back renly when stannis is the rightful heir , but sounds like a cool story for sure !

@Khetsisal33 I always love those too! I've never seen one where Rhaegar still loses, but Ned still dies at the tower of Joy. So it's like a win and a loss at the same time!
Would the Ironborn hold Winterfell? They only took it because of Theon. And i highly doubt that Ned would approve of sending Theon to Pyke. He wouldn't trust the Greyjoys in the first place
Presumably, Robb would probably have the authority to do so, while holding Winterfell. But if Ned is still alive, he might be less inclined to do something like that without authorization, which would be hard to get due to delay in communications between Winterfell and Dragonstone (or wherever Stannis is encamped.) Ironborn presumably would still invade - Balon seems to have some kind of plan that specifically calls for invading the North. This is peculiar, as while North is one of the closest regions to Iron Islands (Bear Island has female warrior tradition because of Ironborn raids) the Riverlands and Westerlands are also near and would have more lucrative loot. In the books, Asha Greyjoy directly calls this out in the Kingsmoot. She spills over a coffer full of pinecones, exclaiming that those are the riches they've been plundering for the past year. (Confusingly, she is renamed to Yara in the TV show.) Capture of Winterfell is indeed 100% Theon's idea. Incredibly risky despite the almost non-existent garrison. When he requests reinforcements, Yara arrives instead with a small group to take him back. She explains that Winterfell is too far from the sea for Ironborn to realistically hold.
The only issue with this theory is that it only happens if Joffrey doesn't order his guards to stop Ned from leaving with the night's watch and ordering him to be executed. And I can't think of any scenario where that happens
It felt bit too convenient for me as well. The original deal WAS for Ned to take the black. For a first time reader, Ned dying is actually a subversion to the expectation "oh cool, now Ned goes to the Wall and join Jon to fight those spooky icemen!" Then Joffrey does a joffrey thing... (Cersei tries to stop Joffrey and admits to Tyrion of all people, that it was a mistake to kill him.) However, I'd assume the way it would work is that crown troops would escort him to the Wall and only return once he swore his oath. It would be interesting to see how Alliser Thorne would greet one of the main culprits of his own exile to the Wall. I have to plug a theory I first heard from "In Deep Geek" about how Aegon the Conqueror unintentionally and ironically destroyed the Night's Watch. One of the Jon chapters explicitly mentions that the Watch had "ten thousand swords" at the time of Conquest. The Watch hasn't slowly degraded over millennia - it collapsed in three centuries! Instead of constant small-scale wars between petty kings providing steady drip-feed of new recruits that come from different political ecosystems, there's now a single large "dump" every couple of decades or so - after the most recent a scuffle, over the Iron Throne, ends. People who used to have personal rivalries or still hold family grudges, are now forced to serve side by side. While there are still some noble volunteers (not threatened by execution) any prestige seems long gone. Jorah Mormont joined when he was 40-50 years old and had a heir to abdicate in favor to. Waymar Royce was a third son, unlikely to inherit regardless. Sam Tarly was forced there by his father so his younger brother would be the heir (threatened with extrajudicial death in the from of "hunting accident.")

I presume this is mostly about the show, too much of the book-only plot is skipped. As such, since this version of The Mannis never burns his daughter and ruins his entire character, I'm all for it. To this day, it boils my blood if I think how those two hacks that wrote the show assassinated Stannis's character! Even if the books follow suit, at least there will be some semi-plausible reason given, instead of what the show did, which pretty much boiled down to Stannis not getting enough sleep and acquiescing to Melissandre's insane PR move. PS: After watching and enjoying all three videos, I'm one of your newest subscribers. I really like the format and I don't mind it having AI voices in the slightest - I actually prefer it.
Would they really have just let him walk off like that? Just walk away with the Watch after everything that went into the whole plot? Honestly that to me seems to be the least believable part of this scenario. Awesome idea though.

Ned would have taken the black still eventually since that’s what he promised to do.
I don't think he would unless he has the men backing him
You don't think Sansa survived the battle? She did in both the show and books?
What if Bran Stark could still walk?
Comment for the algo
Are you soul tomato?
No :o
@ you kinda sound like him
Would they really have just let him walk off like that? Just walk away with the Watch after everything that went into the whole plot? Honestly that to me seems to be the least believable part of this scenario. Awesome idea though.
Hmmm that was the initial plan Cersei and Tywin were going to carry out before Joffrey said fuck that lol
approved
3. what if I like all of them and subscribing and activate the bell
I would love that 🫡
Really enjoy your content but don't do the different British dialects if I may.
Ned should have stayed alive
Nope not really
What matters is Sansa died. I accept this outcome.
Why would sansa die
Cersei had a plan to kill all noble women in the city if it ever fell.
No sex scenes???? Damn
Good riddance to Sansa
