Just in case you or anyone else reading this runs this adventure again, The Player's Libram has its own occupations for 0-level characters and its own table for starting equipment, so you get things that fit the theme (no chickens either). You also don't start with any coin.
Also, horses definitely exist in Dying Earth. Mazirian chases after a girl riding a horse in "Mazirian the Magician".
I do love Sailors on the Starless Sea, but it's great to hear there are more people enjoying zero level funnels and DCC. Thanks Jorphdan!

I’m running a long dying earth campaign currently. The party originally aligned with Ohmvos, the witch later in the campaign swapped from a demonic patron to Pandelume after meeting him. Obviously pandelume requires balance so the first order of business is kill your old patron. I’m currently running the lost city 5e and reskinning it for DCC dying earth. Instead of Zargon it’s ohmvos. I’m only running the lower pyramid and letting them explore the city first. I changed the factions, the shield maidens obviously belong to Sezrekan, because of his level 2 spell. The magi are worshipping the murthe from Dying Earths book 4. And the brotherhood of Gorm is actually worshipping daenthar from the annual. Since they’re deep below the dying earth they have kept their own isolated religions alive.
For monsters I’m running Erbs instead of hobgoblins. Keaks instead of Giant Centipedes and so on. I’m going to have a tavern in the city for each faction and run the tempest black rose module. I’m foregoing the weird adventure hook provided about the tab and swapping each encounter to match a faction and the black rose being the key to the pyramid.
Some of the stat blocks I’ll run right from the original but if I got 5e content I’ll just divide health by 2-2.5.

Nice overview, Jorphdan! Love the Dying Earth series, got in on the DCC Dying Earth Kickstarter, but haven't played it yet. One of these, though it'll be glorious!
