Ook de beste wensen in het niewe jaar en mooie drones te zien natuurlijk.
Ook al vast de beste wensen ja! Wat dat betreft ook tijd om weer es wat nieuws te proberen :)
This should have a FETtec graphical OSD, which I simply love. Have a 15A AIO board in my 3,5" toothpick (FETtec) and a non-Alpha G4 FC (FETtec) on my 5" setup. The graphical OSD is simply amazing, just lovin' it....
Yeahhhh so I did want to try Alpha, but I'm also completely new to it :D
@@DutchRC I like how FETtec flies. There is a somewhat "loose" feeling to it, rather difficult to describe in words. The quad feels more analogue in its flight characteristics. Betaflight tries to achieve the setpoint set by the pilot, while FETtec does it in some less direct way.
The feeling is closer to floaty, but not at all delayed. The movement of the quad is less synthetic for me, provides a more casual and enjoyable way of flying.
It somehow feels more like a flying object and less like a simulator.
I don't want to bash Betaflight at all. Have several BF quads and like them as well. However the FETtec FC's give a bit of an extra feeling, that is just so ever bit more enjoyable for me.
Awesome looking FC and frame, dude! Looking forward to the build! 😃
I hope you had a fantastic Christmas!
Happy new year! And stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks brother :D This one will require some experimenting, but looking forward to it :)
Xmas was good yes! Over there as well I hope?
Cheers and have a good transition into 2024 :)
O, this one I have on my radar. Ex-ci-ting!
Is it me, or is it impossible to change the UART the receiver is on?? :O
@@DutchRC as I understand UART 2 is meant for receiver, but 1, 3 and 4 are free so could be used for it, as well. Check in the configurator which one is set for what. The logic at first glance is a bit "different", but not impossible to understand after a while :-)
@@donphobosthere does Not seem to be an option to Change the receiver UART at all.. other things like the VTX you can assign a AURT to..
I do have ELRS working now, but only with the designated pads for it (not really flexible)
It’s for Fettec Alpha firmware, which is a shame. Would’ve been a nice board if it was Betaflight
Yeah. I did want to try Alpha but it would indeed be nice to also be able to run Betaflight on the board..
Does this have a Betaflight ESC setup or is it a FETtec (KISS-ish) ESC setup?
Soooo keep in mind I'm a noob to this, but the Alpha configurator seems to tell me it is a Alpha / FETtec firmware on the ESC's...
No barometer? 😮😮
Apart from a few APM / Pixhawk quads I've build at the start, I've never used a baro..
For what application would you want one?
