Attempted Hotel Room Entry With Special Tool || ViralHog

9:30pm on June 6th 2023. I was quietly working in my hotel room on my computer. I heard someone knock at the door. I looked through the peephole and did not recognize the man and woman that were standing outside. I did not respond to the knock, and returned to work on my computer. I then heard a strange metallic sound against the door. When I looked over, I saw a metal tool being inserted under the door. I called down to the hotel lobby and told them someone was trying to get into my hotel room. I returned to the door and prevented the tool from moving over to the door handle and opening it from the inside. Hotel staff arrived and told a couple they were at the wrong door. The couple claimed that they accidentally had the wrong room. My hotel room was at the end of the hallway, allowing the couple time to hide the tool. The couple quickly walked away and hotel staff knocked on my door. I opened it and showed him the video. They then quickly ran after the couple, but they were unable to catch up with them.

Happened to me last night when I heard a light tap, and when I looked through the peephole, I saw a shabby-looking couple (almost appeared to be siblings) outside my door that's at the end of the hall. By impulse, I almost opened the door or at least was going to ask through the door what they wanted, but used my brain. They stood outside for several minutes while the lady looked at her phone.
When they eventually headed back towards the elevators, I thought I heard the lady laugh and say something, so I'm assuming that they were visiting a friend/relative, who gave them the wrong floor, yet I'm not going to take chances in this increasingly sick world.
And why would they try to break into the room why don't they just go to the front desk

Six weeks ago in a motel in Abilene, Texas I was beaten into a coma and everything I owned was stolen.
Everything.
My carr, clothes, personal Id, car title, luggage and all personal effects.
Everything!
I was discovered by a motel maid in another motel several miles away naked and unconscious in a bath tub.
The only belongings that remained was a pair of glasses.
This tool may have been the method the thugs used to gain entry, but I'll never know.
I remember nothing of the events that night.
BTW.
I am 80 years old and partially disabled.
I was unarmed.
I awakened from a coma in a nearby hospital with a severe concussion.
The orbit of my right eye was fractured..
I had multiple lacerations and bruises.
My advice?
Avoid Abilene, Texas AT ALL COSTS!
The city is permeated with thugs and several gangs, both white and black.

I was hoping you'd yank it and not only would you slice open his hand but have more evidence for police and maybe prints and if you sliced it bad enough he might go to the hospital and cops find them by asking any places to keep an eye out for wounds like that and I would be mad they didn't make them show them to the right room and show the keycard and say the name that would be listed on the computer and then arrest them

Yank it out from under the door, open the door, and wrap it around the throat of the man or woman, (whichever you catch first) that will teach whichever one that gets away not to mess with you again, them promptly check out of that hotel!

Especially with something that looks like a fishing pole
They only need to hook it on the handle then pull. It would be super easy to do. The deadlock on a hotel room isn't really a deadlock and will open when the handle is pulled.
This would defeat the primary lock and deadbolt. If you are using a secondary lock, then they would have to get through that as a second step

Humans created gods because we didn't understand the weather and we are frightened of death, etc. There is a starting date for Christianity, a middle Eastern religion!
