I know I'm late to the game here, but I have never understood the prohibition on collecting and burning firewood from the surrounding area. You'd think they would WANT people to help burn up dead material as a way of mitigating any future wildfires that will, inevitably, occur.
So much to digest here. The tent would probably make a good super shelter for a future video. The dinner was great, one of my personal camping favorites. You took dancing lessons from Elaine from Seinfeld. Keep the cot for backpacking if it helps you sleep, get a lighter pack. Great video buddy. Thanks Mrs Bananas for letting him out.

Ever been in a US Army Surplus Store? They usually have some pretty neat stuff that can be used for camping. I especially like the 1945 Army Mess Kit with tableware, and I like the canteens. I have also used folding cots from there. The cots are for car camping only as they are very bulky! Also like the knives and if available MREs aren't as bad as many may claim. I think they are pretty good. Plus it is just a fun store to visit.

Very cool camp! Can I maybe recommend an idea for the folding chair legs? You can cut an X into a tennis ball on one side and slip the bottom of the chair leg into it, it should give some grip and help it from sinking. Thanks for another grand rain video 🙏

Sam, I used empty beer or pop cans smashed flat to put under the legs of my chair as I'm here in Kentucky. I seen my motorcycle friends use this trick to put a smashed can under the foot peg when they park their bikes. IT works , thank you so much for your videos please keep making them. Jeff

The first video of yours I ever watched was you eating a big ass cheeseburger at a picnic table covered by a tarp in the middle of a torrential downpour.....just you, digging into that burger and cackling away made me an instant fan. Just went to the Red River Gorge last night for a quick over night. Did a couple of trails and then spent the night at Koomer ridge campground. There was only 4 sites out of 50+ sites being used. Any way there was a nice guy next to my site and we got to talking about watching camping videos and all the cool things you can learn, well needless to say we had a couple beers and I turned him onto your channel. Love it keep up the awesome videos.
