Scott, in the position of the first plane from KSUS (and for that matter, also the second plane) you say that you track a heading of 295 using the heading bug in HDG mode. Can you have the autopilot intercept and track that 25 degree radial to the VOR in NAV mode, rather than using the heading bug, or is the plane located too far off the radial? If it is, how far is too far? Thx!
You can use NAV mode for sure and it is probably more efficient to do so if I'm thinking right off of the top of my head but I was trying to explain navigation step by step working my way to NAV mode if that makes sense.
Thank you for making these videos. They are very helpful to learn it here, practice them in the simulator, then execute them in flight more efficient.
