    Excellent tutorial - thanks for taking the time to explain everything step by step. Could this be done in Acrylics in your opinion (I don't have oils) or would it just be a struggle since they dry so quick. Thank you again.

    • @TheArtChik
      @TheArtChik  4 года назад

      Yes, you could definitely use acrylics as long as you use a lot of gel retarder to slow the drying time and to make the paint more slippery 👍🏼.

    Will you sell this as a print or original? It is the most exquisite snow owl I’ve ever seen! 💕

      Thank you so much! And yes, I would consider selling the original, and you can definitely get a gorgeous print. Email me at andreakirkart@gmail.com and I can give you more details 👍🏼.

    I love your work! I have a silly question, where did you get your desk/easel? I have searched online, but cannot find anything remotely similar to it. Thank you for any assistance you can give!

      Hi! I bought my easel 19-years-ago from a local art shop. I’m not sure it’s sold anymore, but the brand is “Best”. ❤️

    Amazing work! How do you store your oil paints in the masterson pallet saver? Do you just put the wax paper with paint on it and close it? Do you put it in the freezer between painting days? Thank you so much for all your tutorials, they’re amazing.

    • @TheArtChik
      @TheArtChik  3 года назад +1

      Thank you! I like to cover my palette and paints with tin foil (but loosely so that I the foil doesn’t stick to my paint). And if you have to step away from a painting for a few days, definitely stick your box in the freezer (keeping the lid sealed tight). When you are ready to paint again, just pull it out and get back to work 👍🏼. I hope this helped ❤️.

    for some reason I can’t get the reference photo from the link In the description. It keeps taking me to some thing about Baby shower decorations😔

    • @TheArtChik
      @TheArtChik  3 года назад

      Hi, do I noticed that none of the three photos I used are still available. But if you visit my website, www.andreakirkart.com, you can click on my Winter art category, and order a litho photo print of my owl, and it will ship right to your door. The lithos are inexpensive. That way, you have the exact reference of the entire painting. ❤️
