RANDY is an absolute beast in his own right. I have spent many years trying to emulate Jimi Hendrix and gave up. One day watching u tube I came across this video and thought it was a lost video of Jimi. As I listened I remember thinking Damm Jimi was on fire that day, then the camera paned a close up. I Was speechless, never did I Think in my 64yrs someone could fool me. Randy did that. If u never got to see Jimi, no one but no one does it as well as RANDY. Not to mention he is an amazing Musician of his own talent. Much Love for you RANDY. Thank u for sharing your amazing talent with us. God bless

I didn't watch this video. I turned off the monitor, cranked the volume, closed my eyes and let it wash over me. I got the scalp tingles like when I listen to Jimi. Panning the channels was icing on the Stratocaster cake....A lot of comments on the guitar and rightfully so.....I think the drums and bass sound exclusively and awesomely like Mitch and Noel.

Without a doubt, THE BEST when it comes to playing like Jimi. This dude captures every essence that Jimi ever exuded. His nuance is INCREDIBLE. His technique is his own, but he pays homage to Jimi with EVERY SINGLE note. His adlibs, physical, vocal and instrumental, are so freekin' Jimi-like that it is astounding. He even moves like JMH. He handles the stage like JMH. He has mastered the guitar like JMH. He is sooooo comfortable in every way. The band deserves more than honorable mention. To play at the same level as Randy is quite an accomplishment. I'm just wondering what kind of music 12 morons enjoy. Maybe Bruno Mars? Maybe Usher? Hmmm ??

Pulentas. Agree Randy is good, and nail it good, and he's a underrated player. But you have to listen to Jimi Hendrix blues album, you will really understand how far out jimi is in flavour the sound, how he move the strings. I have not seen any thing like it, and it's like the string is rubber in he's hands. Randi is far from the skill of the master and creator Jimi. You have to hear what the top players of the world today says; some we have figure out, but there is still thing that jimi did that no one have ever managed to create again, still until this day. They ask, how the fuck did he do that. That said from the top guitar players of today, that we recon as one of this times best guitar players.

Christ. Was this guy born after Jimi's death. This might be proof of reincarnation lol. NEVER heard anyone play Jimi like this guy. There are tons of great players that can play his music, but this guy is playing HIM. Like, his essence flows through this man. Even his mannerisms. If someone played this for me without the video, I wouldve completely believed it was him.

I first saw Randy Hansen at the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, TX back in 1979. He was doing a Hendrix show and one of the players that night was Stevie Ray Vaughn. As much as I love Stevie, Randy Hansen outplayed him that night.
    It was awesome.

Yes, they were good friends. Randy told me that Stevie used to open for him, when he played in Texas and they ended up jamming. Randy dedicated the song "Texas Twister" to him.

I saw him at the Golden Bear in HB back in the 70s it was so backed we couldn’t get in so we watched and listened from the front and all of a sudden the front doors opened up and Randy came out and went on to PCH and started jamming it was badass

I was at the concerts of this band in Tilburg and Den Bosch with my wife. And after we spoke with UfoWalter bought some signed CD;s Great musicians and so kind people. My first ever album was a jimi album.. for my 10th birthday, and jimi just died. That triggered obviously something. Just imagine the time and talent it takes to analyse this music so detailed

a time machine...if...jimi still alive today...wow. Randy is the best tribute to Hendrix, his vocal is really heard same as Hendrix's. No doubt with his skill, and the guitar sound is all same like Hendrix's. Wow! wow wow! cool!

This guy could've have made top ten guitarist of all time if he played in a band and made original even if similar Jimi type of guitar songs on his own. He's an incredible guitarist from learning Jimi.

This is the most frightening and yet powerfully passionate version of this song that Jimi wrote...and except for Randy Hansen NO ONE not even Steve Winwood (who performs on the recording) alongside Eric Clapton can not do this song justice!!
Sorry UFO...just got home from tour and I jam ya'll religiously.

Ufo, look forward to seeing this DVD. Randy is great, there is no doubt. But you and Manni certainly keep things together for him, I certainly appreciate a killer rhythm section like you 2 are. You are both great players. I think that this band shows how Jimi would have sounded now, if he was still alive, and playing his old tunes. I am thankful that you are all keeping the songs going and alive. AMAZING stuff.

Jimi always played his songs differently from show to show. Always evolving, so only God knows what he would do if he was still here.

It's really amazing to pull it off so well without keyboards. That a big part of the mood in the original. Bravo. Captures the spirit like Denny Dent did with the Hendrix paintings.

Enjoyed a few songs from ''Axis: Bold as Love''
and then this Man's name popped up (Randy Hansen)
    10/10
I am blown away right now. Randy Hansen is one of the most underrated guitarists of all-time...
    Incredible guitar player.
In my opinion, the best blues guitarist alive today is Joe Bonamassa, however...
