ASMR - Defined as “a calming pleasurable feeling Often accompanied by a tingling sensation” . ASMR occurs in response to certain stimuli
what I love most about this asmr is that almost none of the phrases are commands. And they're all very simple. A lot of "comforting you" ASMR just tell you that you should calm down over and over again... Like, no shit dude, that's why i'm watching ASMR! It ends up feeling like they're just telling you to get over it and go to sleep, lol. Or, the phrases they use are too complex and specific so keep my brain awake or worse, remind me of things and feelings i'm trying to forget about. I am calmed by this approach way more - the phrases are so simple but so effective. They feel so personal without getting into compliments (which I just find weird in asmr) or any romantic vibes. Truly immaculate and idk why it's so hard to find more asmr like this.

The rest, I agree. The most I hate, this is complicated asmr with sentences, consisting of a thousand words, like if the texts for them were written by Leo Tolstoy or Hemingway or, i don't know who writes those constructions 🤦and instead of relaxing and calming down, you load your brain and tense more

Who needs melatonin when you have Chrispy lol. The first time I slept from 11pm to 2am, woke up put it on loop, and went back to sleep from 2am to 12pm. All in all I had a very great sleep. Thanks Chris.

Long story short, I had a recent death in the family and their birthday is today. Being strong for so many others I didn't realize how much I was holding in. As I decided to rest myself earlier I defaulted to a favorite video of mine. As I closed my eyes and listened to your words of comfort I found myself crying and releasing a lot of held in emotions. In the midst of feeling better emotionally, I fell asleep peacefully. So thank you very much for your content as you never know who's in need and how you're helping. Thank you SO much for this video! By your repeated statements of " it's okay ", " calm down, it's just me & you " & " relax, it's okay " and " everything's going to be okay. " It really helps my brain to calm down and get sleepy enough to actually feel like I can sleep. I struggle with insomnia and have anxiety, depression & quite a bit of stress. The soft whispers are very soothing to me. Within the first 3 mins of this video, I was already sinking into REM sleep; so thank you so, so much! You will never know how much I appreciate these types of videos. You're voice is like silk and just like creamy mousse.
