Whew😢! This is so profound and now I understand at 56 years old. As a young girl I did not understand what my great great grandmother (Eugenia Roque) was saying when she was talking around the house. I knew it wasn’t English it was French. All the days I knew her she never spoke English. Now my mind is running and I got to learn more about my family’s origin. My grandmother (Mary Steele (Metoyer), my great grandmother (Margret Metoyer), my great uncle (Ben Ray Roque), my great great grandmother (Eugenia Roque) who was a twin.
