Hopefully you'll like them and they will work for you. If not, I suppose you could always return them since you just ordered them. So far, they haven't given me the boot, but you never know.
Would have liked to hear the mic in muff sample with normal conversation + gunfire to see which one can do both simultaneously. I feel like this was a hearing aid test.
Very good review. I almost buy Axil but now I won't. One thing if I may suggest, to record the sound of people talking while shooting. I have yet to see any reviewer doing this. Axil rep said that with Axil, user will still be able to hear continuous conversation without any drop when there is a loud noise because their muff lower the loud noise instead of cutting it off like other ear pros.
@@TheEnvelopeOZ When we are in gun range, we're not the only one shooting. There are many others who will shoot while we need to talk to our kids, spouse or Instructor, etc.
my sister and i both had pro ears. batteries were sometimes hard to find. we both had the same experience with them. Gold version had the batteries inside the and under the foam in the muff. We both had 1 ear muff stop working. Yes, probably operator error but...
@@TheWarriorSolution ended up buying two pairs of the Howard Leight sports and two cheap prohear gel cup replacements. The axils were half off but even then cost more still. Really wanted to buy the proears silver cause they are USA made but at twice the cost just couldn’t.

Pro ears mic in muff test was pretty damn true to life
