Many years ago, I took some girls from our low income housing to a WNBA game with courtesy tickets. One of the girls idolized Rebecca Lobo. Rebecca talked to the girl during her warm-up and I thought that she was going to faint. Later on, we saw Rebecca leaving the stadium. Rebecca autographed our cards and encouraged her little fan and gave hugs. That Lil girl slept with that card taped over her bed. Thank you, Rebecca Lobo, for making her dream come true and so much more! You are a class act, Lady, and deserve ALL the blessings that have come your way from the kindness that you have shown even your littlest fans. Dios te bendiga!💖
She was ok, nothing spectacular, only thing that caught the world's eye was when she went 35-0 with UCONN, her accolades with the 96 team was just a show, she didn't shatter anything spectacular in her career, gifted player no, special player yes! She's also negative against any player that's ever worn the Tennessee orange. 2016 WNBA finals when Parker exploded she never gave any kudos to her, it was all the positive talk about Maya Moore this and that. She needs to broaden her horizon and give kudos to everyone that plays this amazing sport and to not just highlighting the UCONN Alma mater
Rebecca Lobo started the women's basketball craze. She was the perfect person for this. I will always respect her for this.
