WV Waterfalls Trail - Kanawha Falls

This is my second video on the West Virginia Waterfalls Trail and today I'm at Kanawha Falls in Glen Ferris, West Virginia. This waterfall is just down stream of where the New River becomes the Kanawha River and offers some really beautiful views, especially from the water.
I'm going to be visiting each waterfall on the WV Waterfalls Trail and sharing videos of them as I do. I hope you'll subscribe and check them all out.

Dumb question. Is it alot of paddling work to stay up on the falls like that? I so need to go try it out myself!

Thanks so much! I'm having some trouble getting the quality in my 360 videos that I see other people getting with their x4 cameras, so it's something I'm working on.
You should definitely check out the Kanawha Falls, it's a beautiful place to paddle. It's pretty easy to stay close to the falls, when the water flow is 4,000 cubic square feet per second and below. Above that, and I usually stay a pretty good distance from the falls. The tricky part is keeping the kayak straight. Since water is coming in from different directions it creates a lot of turbulence.

Now most of this won't apply on every device. But On my quest 3, I've noticed the RUclips app is strange. So the only time 8k vr videos play, is if they're 180 degrees and 4320s60. 30fps caps it at 2160s. On 360 videos, the max I've seen is 2160s60. But you Google it, and it's supposed to support RUclips vr 8k and 360 degrees. But it doesn't with the native RUclips vr app
The tl;Dr, the only way your kanawha falls video would look better on the quest, is if it was 2160s60 instead of just 2160s. But as is, it looks really great!
