I ran the sct for awhile. Careful using the higher power tunes that come from them. They boost the high pressure oil over the rated pressure for the stand-up o-rings. You'll go through them like crazy. Monitor your HPO and make sure it never goes of 4k psi. Maybe look into a high flow standpipe kit
@jacobgomez2682 just my experience. I monitor every drive. With the higher power tunes I was routinely pushing over 4100 psi at full throttle and it was eating stand pipe o rings. I detuned it and now it doesn't spike over 3980, ever. And I'm at about 20k miles in the current o rings. They wouldn't last 2k miles when it was tuned. Viton o rings are rated at 4000psi and it seems like there isn't much margin for error with them
Also I'm sure you know that the IPR is what creates the pressure. If the icp is detecting 4100 psi at the sensor, then, just logically, the hpop has to be creating more than that. Regardless the ipr is going to set the pressure in the stand pipes and oil rails. Stock tune pushes like 82% ipr open where as the higher tunes were always at max, 84.77%...creating more pressure and volume in the rails
You probably already figured it out but the rear diff will have a metal tag attached to one of the bolts that will give you your ratio. As well as the door sticker but I think you said it was missing.
On your sct x4 does it allow you in the configuration vehicle selection allow you to select the 2006 6.0 model and engine. Asking cause after i updated mines the 6.0 disappeared and sct said the o6 wasn't supported by eo
I agree. Ive ran all of them, I’m currently running blessed performance custom tunes (overall the best in my opinion), Gearhead has a superb tow tune, my truck also runs good on TSD “super panty dropper” just too hot/rowdy for daily driving. I used to run the “looney tune” a few years back.
only running the extreme tune for 1000 subscriber special filmed the vid a few hours ago crazy power too much power definitely won’t be turning it back on i’m sticking to the eco tune for now on
Fuck the HPOP lmao your gonna put yourself at risk of introducing water into your oil... You'll be looking at a short block after you spin some bearings or honestly dropping a lifter those are the only roller bearings and at most risk for damage from a lubrication standpoint
Also would recommend a PHP FICM tune

Never seen this on any of my 6.0s, it can increase fuel but not oil, the hpop can only put out x amount

you have to return it to stock before retuning
I don't have new head studs yet, so I'm avoiding the performance tune. The street tune is enough for me.
What kinda custom Tune did u get to get more coal ?!
street tune rolls coal
Where did u get your tunes from?
blessed performance
Call the dealer with your vin they can tell you what axle you have, if it’s a lariat it’s got the LSD and should be I believe 3.73
It has his gear ratio on the door jams in the form of a sticker that has like the tire sizes on it.
Oh missing sticker haha
Innovative or gearhead. Once you get some studs then yell at TSD.

@@gilbreezy34 ran them on my old 6.0 they were all awesome. Now running TSD on my 6.7, truck runs and drives great 👍.
Gearhead all the way for a non studded/oringed head truck
You’ll be seeing Bill Hewitt and the gang real soon if you stay on that loud pedal too long my friend 😂
😞
He’s not going to be seeing Bill for awhile.. He passed.
Take your vin number and go on Google and use one of the Ford decoder pictures. Most likely it’s going to be 373.
thank you
Sweet mods bro !!!
