DriftDreams 242 oh ok I understand now I found a guy that has custom tunes for grand marquis LS for $160 I might give it a try but just having a cal an true dual exhaust I feel a difference on sct pre tune on pick up an full Throttle an with 5mph on the shift the car pulls forward on each shift before it would take forever to shift in but wouldn’t pull on shift now it does.
Thanks will try some of the advanced settings. About the only video showing anything besides flashing and getting the strategy code. Got a 2003 Grand Marquis and did a 91 octane settings but will try some of the timing advancement and others.
Kool, so it will set rpm in drive position?? I use hand controls to drive, cant use legs, so when I drag race i'd like to be able to set my rpm to start me at the exact rpm just before the back tires start spinning, with this tuner I can do that, correct??
Can you leave these tuners plugged in 24/7? Or will it drain your battery? I wanted to get mine hooked up to be installed permanently so I could have the gauges up on the tuner at all times when driving but just don’t wanna drain my car battery or anything

Dang old video but helpful, so by the looks this is a device that is not meant to be connected all the time, I don't like the fact that it powers up when plugged, a switch would be very helpful, specially if you wanted to leave hooked up overnight, if it stays on all the time while plugged in, it could drain the battery if the car sits a few days. The size is another thing, the screen is small compared to the body size, the gauge sizes if you wanted to monitor them are kind of small. The product pricing is also out of touch, for what it does. Just my two cents. The video is great.

I just received my X4 yesterday and haven't driven with the new tune. I was just curious if the VIN being received would have opened more options. I don't recall having the fuel/Air mixture option or the option to turn off the traction control. I'll have to connect it again to see again what options I have.
Bro. I have a question i bought an sct x4 from ebay its supposed for my 2020 ford explorer. But when i pluggin in the car it doesnt show anything about the car at all. It doesnt even read my car type.
If you are asking if once you remove the tuner, will you have to re tune your truck. Then the answer is no, the scanner saves the original profile in the sense of the cars tune. So when you remove it, it will convert the vehicle back to the OEM tune.

You can find out your tire revs per min by going to an auto tire site... check by the tire size
