I was there with my oval for the 2nd time in 2022 , what a blast ! It was amazing would like to go back immediately ! That's what old VW's stand for :D

My son asked me how I lowered my 64’ VW Notchback, back in the day. I said, “We’ll, back in the day we didn’t have RUclips. We had Hot VWs Magazine. I would sort through my collection of magazines that dealt with type 3s. Eventually, you’d find an issue that showed how to lower your car. You would do your best to follow the directions/pictures and use common sense when working on the car. And that’s how I lowered my Notch back in the day. Man, I miss that car….”

Understand completely, I used to have a 1967 beetle with flared guards, a whale tail with widened steelies as well as a mid green paint work with the pink floyd graphics plus the mmonza exhaust as well as the twin barrel carry, man I miss that car as well

Good vehicle but it had a air cooled engine meaning the heat in side the vehicle suffered
