At first I was like I think we are going to have different styles that we think are the basics/necessities but then after thinking about it I am pretty sure you hit the nail on the head!
Pre-covid I wore loafers and pointed toe flats a lot (I’ve got both in classic black). I rarely get out of slippers or sneakers these days though as my employers have preferred me to work from home (they’ve down-sized their office space so cant accommodate many in-office workers).
@@whatveewore it’s taken me quite a bit of getting used to, as I used to get a lot out of my co-workers and the office environment. My job is harder from home, but I do try to take advantage of the extra flexibility WFH provides.

You can get all your birken’s cleaned, resoled and repaired, even the cork footbed at Birkenstock store! They are really meant to be a pair of shoes for life. Don’t part way with them just yet 🥺 Great video as always 😊
I had NO idea about this! I've always bought my Birkenstocks either online or not from the actual store, so I'm definitely going to see if I can give new life to my sad looking pair. How exciting! Thanks for sharing x

I saw this video from Future Proof about Birkenstock and apparently they can be easily repaired by a cobbler. You might be able to revive your burgundy pair!
seriously, my mind is blown. all this time i thought that once they were thrashed, they had to be binned, but I've only just learned from others (you included) that they can be revived! i'm so glad I've hung onto my burgundy pair :)

Genuinely curious what your husband's top 5 are. My partner is Australian and I would love for him to wear something other than thongs in the summer 😅
Do the RM Williams run true to American size?
i'm pretty sure they would - i find them true to size :) but it might be best to consult the size guide and the measurements to double check
