"The kind of dark that haunts a 100 year old house" - Now that's a line that clearly identifies them as Americans. The oldest still standing (and inhabited) private residence in my home town (unchanged other than windows, roof repairls and paint jobs) is from 1501... And the town plus the accompanying caste were first mentioned in 1154. But that's just Central Europe for you. Greek or Italian viewers would probably laugh at those young buildings. Good song nonetheless 😀

Sorry, just my opinion... it's not anger, it's despair, he is not heard by her, it's a cry he will never get what he needs so badly, it's the end of the world, it's a hell for him (see everything burning around)... just my opinion, sorry if I am wrong.... but been there... done that... got the t-shirt :)
