De-ionized water doesn’t leave any water spots, you should try one of those. They’re a few hundred bucks but I’ve had mine for years and they’ve never left a single spot
Im sure youve figured it out by now but they are DUB Esinem.. they also make a floater version, so if floaters pop up in your search keep looking theyll come up eventually
While I do appreciate the polishing information and effort, I agree with Joom, the pitting and oxidation on the wheels is still present and makes the wheels look very bad, even after polishing. It's like waxing and polishing the paint on a vehicle that has rust all over it. It just doesn't make sense to me. Not worth the effort.Sorry.

Exactly what I was thinking, also use never dull at autozone let it sit n lock up on rims wipe with dry towel, guaranteed way better outcome

0000 steel wool and some real chrome polish would of done a better job and helped get rid of some of that pitting

Unfortunately they went out of business. You can use a polish or a chrome polish from p&s detail products and it’ll clean up well too

I would've used Noxon metal polish with a steal wool

They went out of business, you can use a chrome polish or normal polish to remove water spots and oxidation from rims though.
