nice video and the idea of using band .. however, I do not think that for barbels it makes any difference. In my view the most important condition for catching a big barbel is to find the place where they are. On Danube in main current I use no feed only 200g lead and the hook full of maggots or big dice of harder cheese and I am regularly catching barbels over 80 cm .. on some other places I am using fancy feed and rigs and I can hardly cross 60 cm size.

Quite neat idea using a baitband! I am gluing them onto a piece of foam/cork here in Austria. Works well and the fish dont seem to bother.
