Thankyou once again for such a lovely review Daniel! I'm very glad you enjoyed it too, it's a new game so you never know how these things will land. Just a couple of rule clarifications though, these are all concerning fishing/digging/foraging. They're all explained in more detail on the Guide to Coppershell Bay section of the rulebook anyway :-) * When you fish, dig or forage at Locations, you don't draw all the cards at once. You draw them one at a time, stopping at any point you wish after each card is drawn (e.g. you can Fish up to 3, but you can stop fishing after each card is drawn). * You can have up to 6 cards each of fish, materials and forageables, rather than 6 fish, 6 materials and 6 forageables (so you can end up with more than 6 fish in your supply - it's the number of cards that is limited to 6, rather than their contents). * When you suffer penalties from fishing, digging or foraging at Locations, you suffer each penalty up to and including the amount of ! you drew, rather than just the penalty matching it (so if you draw 2 ! while fishing, you lose 1 Pep AND discard 1 fish card from your supply).
Theme is like HP Lovecraft meets Bob's Burgers? 🤯 🤠 Sign me up! I had the audio on during a long walk. The description left me speechless. I need to find a bench and just watch the rest of this video immediately.
Sort of reminds me of one of my favourite recent GM-less solo/co-op games, Be Like A Crow, only with awesome physical components... 🤔 Now, if only this one too had a cosmic horror expansion... 😉
Well, here I am again, watching your video, enjoying the content and then immediately buying(preordering) the game. Getting this, and all the paupers ladder content. Cheers!
@@TheDungeonDiveyou haven’t steered me wrong yet! Love Tin/ iron helm, fallen land, HEXplorit, I have freelancers incoming and now this bundle in October! Love your content, 🥂
Looks amazing! Ordering a copy now! Paul, is one of a handful of indie designers that I just buy on name alone. Looking so foreword to this. Paul has managed to create a whimsical fantasy world that feels extremely nostalgic, while also being very fresh. Reminds we of Adventure Time mixed with Over the Garden Wall. Just love it!
I went to order but the shipping is more expense that the game. They only offer express air mail. I have time but not money. I'll wait to see if they offer different shipping methods in the future.
U need to remember rule one of the dungeon drive. The dungeon driver can't lose things. Especially at the back of sofas. He can't make mistakes, plus we should not talk about the dungeon drive, it does not exist outside the dungeon drive!
Hi Daniel. Thank you for the Review, the game looks awesome. Also i would like to ask You something: i feel that in a saturated market with so many titles, this game mix 2 things that i feel are the next steps: the "euro crawler" combination and the "few components trying to evoke a great experience". Do you agree?
i cant wait to get my copy of this game. It looks so cool. I helped playtest this games and it nice to see the finished version. there is so much attention to detail and the wooden tokens are so cute. I'm right there with you on loving the vibe of this game and the others in the Paupers Ladder series.

We're gonna need a follow-up video regarding the fate of the lost pep token.
I ordered some replacements from Etsy. :)
I love mint tin game designs!!!

Love seeing you review these obscure small games! This looks great!
Damn it, sir! Do you know how much money you've cost me indirectly since I've subscribed?
Anyway, great work as usual.

It's really amazing.

Yes. It’s a single guy shipping from his house. No volume discount and no retail global distribution.
This really is getting close to being a Tiny Epic paupers ladder
Haha! Yes. :)

I wish there's a pdf version... The shipping is killing... 😕
This one looks really fun. I usually go to gritty dungeon type games but I think I need to try and get this one.
Thank you Daniel, Well done again Paul, another hit I am thinking!
Look like a very astute game pack in a very small formate very impressive
Jeez this looks awesome! Thanks for covering it 👍

Could be! There are some games already in the space, and I usually appreciate them.
I love this channel. Hello from Lebanon
Thank you! And maybe my first comment from Lebanon? What’s the gaming hobby like there?

Cheers from Brazil !
Are there ways to get his games from a US distributor? Shipping from the UK is rough
No. He’s just one guy shipping out of his house. No distribution or volume discount.
This looks incredible!
Been waiting to see this, thanks!
Love me some tin games
