For anyone new to this game it's not about afk it's about efficiency and trying to maximize resource production to the point your not waiting more than like 1 second to get the resources you need. Also When you don't care about efficiency then one resource becomes an absolute pain. For example screws are my pain for right now while plates I've got so much I don't know what to do with it
Hey Z, there is a SAM vein in the grass fields near the “arch” (it’s underground/ cave access). And SAM sinks for A LOT. at 120/min ore sink it’s about 1500points/min, if you process it into reanimated SAM it’s 4kp/min at 30/min. Tbh there is no use for it until late game. So get the easy tickets
Everything you said means nothing to me and that tells me that this is a complicated game. Last I remembered SAM ore was only used for making the Sonic Screwdriver which put you in a weird Minecraftian world 😂😂😂
my beginner tip. Get everything automated, as much as you can. You need a lot of reinforced iron plates, so get the machine unlocked and built, even if you manually go put a stack of plates and screws in it. I do the same for smart plating. I dont even bother trying to build a whole factory to build 50, I just get my basic parts running fully effectively so I can prep for the expansions that will be needed to progress. You don't want to be short on plates and concrete while trying to build t4 stuff.
@ 34:10 After a long soliloquy, extolling the virtues of his perfect efficiency..... Z realizes he didn't hook up power to a bunch of his machines...... Heh heh heh heh heh!!!!! This is one of those Series where it's waaaay better to watch at .75 speed..... Z has the bottle of mountain dew upside down, he's got that on an IV stand, running it wide open intravenously..... He's got a gallon of coffee.... He is being himself over there.... Yeah, for me, I'm not ready for the FULL Z... .75 speed Z is better.... I was thinking though, "He must be powering this up off camera I guess, he just moves right along.... Oh well".... Whooops! Or not....
havnt played since update 6, kinda enjoying playing along but skipped a few parts to avoid spoilers, kinda want to experience the new stuff for the firs time
Hey Z why don't you change the color of the character's suit, helmet and the appearance of the main tool??? you have all this in the main HUB when interacting with the wardrobe...😉
@@Z1Gaming No no, it's just the order of things. There is no right or wrong here btw, that is not what I'm saying. If you've got any downtime go look for caterium, crystals, harddrives and so on. Even gathering wood and leaves is a nice thing to do if you've got to wait for something. Going AFK to build up resources seem like a waste to me. At least when you're on biomass and you have to go gather more.
Its nice to see you revisiting Satisfactory, looking forward to your progress. I wonder if you have any desire to revisit Icarus, Since your last revisit they added a new world, pets (cats and dogs that can be sent down from the mothership), new animals and more variants of current animals through DLC. There's also quite a few mods out that make surviving better, Through the Icarus Mod Manager, like KeepTrees, this makes trees more likely to survive storms and not fall over to easily, There's ones that remove the level cap and allow you to eventually complete the entire tech tree/blueprint charts so that you don't have to specialize in just one thing, or very loosely spec your person, and even a mod that makes Wood and Glass a bit tougher than normal. One mod that i especially like having for aesthetic reasons is Wood Interior Stone (Basically makes Stone Building Pieces like Walls/Floors/Doors/Roofs and the like to have Stone Outside with Interior wood on the inside) The only mods I'm running, are RespawnNow (Resource Respawns), KeepTrees (Trees resist more against storms), Zen Progression (Removes Level Cap and makes Leveling less grindy), Zen Hud (Removes the You have unused points available alert), Stone/Wood Interior. For a less realistic playthrough weight wise, Wood/Stone Stack (Increases the stack of wood and stone, Wood is now 500 and Stone is 200, Saves space by a lot), Could also have Stack Increase, it increases the stack size to most things like Arrows being 100 can now be 2000+ or Any meat from being 20 or so to being 100. (Neither stack mods reduce the weight of the items, just the stack size allowed, 200 stone would still weigh the same as 2 stacks of 100 stone) (Zen Progression and Zen HUD are found on NexusMods) There's also many game breaking mods, but i avoid playing with them personally, however, if anyone out there is interested in having a Creative Mode like Experience there's a mod in Icarus Mod Manager 2.2 (you can google it, its on GitHub), the mod is called Builders Dream, It makes every cost 0, put raw meat in a campfire and get 100 cooked meat it'll keep going until you remove it or deactivate the campfire. Need 1000 stone floors for some reason, just set it to 100 and click craft 10 times... no resources used.
Good to watch if you're a beginner but very annoying to watch when you are a more advanced player. If spaghetti works just go with it until you get more efficient
I really thought this game was going to be interesting but somehow it really isn't. I know it's widely popular and I understand that people do appreciate the graphics and the scale/size of everything you build but in the end there's no real point or goal to anything. No enemies, no urgency, no importance, you can't even build cosmetic stuff like a home or vehicles for status or anything. It's all production based. If it had and incoming enemy horde attacking and what you build actually had a purpose/goal then I think this would be amazing but instead they just made a sandbox for nerds/geeks who don't mind everything being in a huge mess.
before the 1.0 release there were some mods that added more survival elements to the game. but they might not be fully updated for the 1.0 release yet.
There are lots of cosmetic features in the game. You can build a house. There are multiple (customizable) vehicles in the game. And now that the game’s on 1.0, there is a narrative and purpose to making these factories. If you’re still not interested, then go play factorio. That game sounds exactly like what you’re describing.
I'm not gonna lie watching Z1 play, and not optimizing stuff is driving me nuts, but i also can't stop watching either. I love this channel

Is it possible to build a factory inside?
@@CaptainDB1988 not really, there is some space for a constructors, unless you build vertically
No use for SAM until late game? Did you forget about the Dimensional Depot?
@@MCNinja38TR1 true….but if you an infinite supply store some and sink the extra. Like any other part

When adding more power poles you can highlight the wire click on it and and then place the pole and it will atomically be connected to the wires
episode should have been called. "Saying I'm a little rusty without saying I'm a little rusty."

Those burners on the hab can't be fed by belts though, so it's better the way you did it
Please post these fast!!!! I’ve been waiting a couple years for you to play again lol
Yeah number 2 keep it going
hold control button makes aligning stuff faster
yep got to start with spaghetti to help the factory grow~ we must turn the world into a parking lot ~ :P
man cant wait to play this on ps5
You could have done merger splitter merger. Feed them all directly and split off to each merger
at 25:31 , I Laughed way harder than I should have LOL
Hey Z when going to place a power pole if you click on a wire that is strung between poles you auto connect the new pole to the wire
I'm excited to see you back in Satisfactory! I hope you enjoy it!
Literally the plates 😂😂😂
Z i think you are using splitters wrong. Check if you go series the split at the last will be way less than it should be. Go for parallel splits.
YEAAAAHH
Now I gotta start a new game
Shared your E1 with my alliance in a game cause I had just been talking about Satisfactory to them last week
Come to think of it, I think I got Satisfactory because I watched your videos on it XD
i remember you playing before fluids were in the game
Soooooooo. Many! Storages 😁
Honestly, I just left my starter factory on the ground, and speed-ran coal power.
havnt played since update 6, kinda enjoying playing along but skipped a few parts to avoid spoilers, kinda want to experience the new stuff for the firs time
Wait till future z finds out there are 6 pure iron ore and the quartz crystal around where he is
I got the basics coming in and coal fired steam power so now I can get started on taking over the world. 😎
So. The toilet has a single inventory slot. There's a mercer sphere in mine.
The last 2 iron ingot constructors you put in, I don't think you powered them? LOL never mind
Haha its not Lizard doggo its Armedoggo😂
Hey Z why don't you change the color of the character's suit, helmet and the appearance of the main tool??? you have all this in the main HUB when interacting with the wardrobe...😉
Plus a flushing toilet! (Bin)
i wonder y z1 dose not lock the hologram with the h key so he can move and see from all sides lol
If add 2 more bi9 burners to level out you power I think do not sure built help
There is a mod for daisy chain but idk if it works for 1.0.
most mods from before 1.0 likely won't work until there updated which shouldn't take that long depending on the creator of each one.
@@reaperbot5226 I dont think the game is allowing mods yet, an update is needed
Hiiii
Hello~
GREETINGS
If you have to wait for materials to get built to keep going you're not very efficient.
So you start the game having all your resources available? How? Genuinely need this to progress faster! Thank you!
