I wonder why the melee near the end of the first half wasn't shown...that was the most fight LAFC had before the fourth goal. It was disgusting to watch Murillo hip check Urruti, then go down as if he was shot after barely getting his foot grazed.

Most other leagues would promote those kind of fights, controversies, etc. MLS meanwhile just wants to brush every little scuffle and overall anything negative right under the rug. Those are the kind of things that drive narratives and stories, which in my opinion are great for sports leagues! But not for MLS apparently.

I love MLS for its parity, unpredictability and overall chaos. With that being said, I will probably never bet on this league. Never would I have expected LAFC to get thoroughly demolished in Austin like that. I'd much rather bet on other sports leagues like the NFL, NBA and Premier League.

LAFC fans, don't make excuses. Our team got stomped. This game shows exactly why this team needs to use that third DP spot on a CAM. Instead the FO keeps going out and signing wingers. The most disappointing thing about this game was the piss poor mentality of the team.
This team didn't need Bale, I don't understand why they signed him, the team has looked more and more disconnected since his arrival. Adding Bouanga and Tello isn't going to help the team chemistry either. Our rookie manager is going to have to earn his paycheck and figure things out quickly or this team is going to have an early playoff exit.

Incorrect on Bale. This game aside, his PS%, chance creation and statistics in the MLS so far, which outstrip what came before, have proven that this is a good buy. The issue is an unproven manager. His two issues are that a) he has never managed at this level and this job came to early b) due to his high level playing career, he is used to players of a considerably higher calibre and skill level. It’s surprisingly similar as when Hoddle went to Swindon.
