Erling Haaland named FWA's Men's Footballer of the Year | Chelsea's Sam Kerr wins Women's award

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has been named the Football Writers' Association Men's Footballer of the Year for 2022/23, while Chelsea striker Sam Kerr has won the Women's Footballer of the Year award.
The Norway international received 82 per cent of the FWA vote, ahead of Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
Haaland has contributed an incredible 51 goals in all competitions so far this season as Man City look to secure a historic treble.
Haaland and Kerr are set to receive their awards at the FWA Footballer of the Year 75th anniversary dinner in London on May 25.

@The Padded Cell When have Chelsea confirmed this? Stop telling lies. Chelsea have never said her competitive goals are 20. The truth is that Kerr has scored more than 20 competitive goals and even YOU know this, so just stop all your nonsense.
@The Padded Cell On the club's website it says she has 26 goals in all comps: 10 league goals, 6 league cup goals, 5 UCL goals and 5 fa cup goals.

Winning the domestic doubles might be good for Haaland and Kerr, but to achieve GOAT, they must do this:
1.For Haaland: Champions League with Manchester City (as well as the qualification for Euro 2024 with Norway).
2.For Kerr: Women's World Cup with Australia (Matildas).
They both play so effortlessly
