      Shifts into gear really hard from park, doesn't change speeds

    Realy unprofesional! You must use a specialized tool for disassembly...... different from hammer :-) You reach for the hammer too easily. Given the cost of a new one and the subsequent adaptation.

    This will break the board and you need to replace the whole thing. Warning!!!!

      If you make a hole on the bottom to punch out the sensor, do you need to seal it up?

      There's a tool to remove them that works better

    What type solder and flux do you use?

      looks like just regular solder type, nothing special there 🙂
      Besides you really need a "temperature controlled solder-iron" (not the $5 one time use junk iron) - Nothing super fancy, as long as its the right soldering temperature it won't damage the fragile flex cable
