MacNaughton Mountain Hike - Via Adirondack Loj

The infamous 47th peak that never made the list. Standing at 4000' yet somehow...4 other peaks shorter than it did make the list. On this attempt, we will be starting from the Adirondack Loj as apposed to Upper Works. Today was the wettest and muddiest hike I have ever done. Under these conditions, MacNaughon is grueling. So, Join me as a take you on the more casual, yet exciting experience of MacNaughton Mountain.

I knew you would 👍 Awesome video. When we did Mac 8/16 we had great weather that weekend. Stayed two nights at Rocky Falls lean-to. That’s a great spot. Got up early Saturday and climbed, not sure how long it took but we hiked back in the dark. Thank goodness for headlamps. That hike kicked my butt. From the dam up was one of the hardest in the Dacks in my opinion. Couldn’t imagine doing that hike as a single day trip. Maybe 30 years ago lol.. Anyway congrats loved the video looking forward to the one from the Upper Works. We tried that side couple years back unsuccessfully . Great lean-to back there, Henderson Lake another great weekend!! Awesome....
