I'm dead "she moved from India to New Jersey, so we already know this is turning into a horror story" 😂😂😂😂😂
The Jersey Devil did it!😅
Tis NJerz thaat bad?
That also made me laugh....shouldnt it be the other way around from NY to India?
He roasted NJ 😂😂😂🙌🙌🙌
New Jersey really is a dump. This is for New Jersey 🖕
Ugh.. she worked so hard in India and came to the US, so excited and a bright future ahead.. she even had daily calls to her family back in India.. they must have felt so happy for her.. breaks my heart 😰💔
How was a neighbor able to hear “growling” and water running in arpana’s but no one heard her apt/door being broken into?? That just doesn’t make sense…
Did they share a bedroom wall? In my house I can hear someone coughing through the walls and the water running when they're showering or flushing the toilet. Especially at 3am. But I wouldn't be able to hear anyone breaking in because the front door is farther away. Sound carries differently in hallways than through walls.
They might have come home after the break in already happened or been in another room. I can think of like six dozen ways that could happen, actually. He had his earbuds in, he was running water, his dog was making too much noise for him to hear the door breaking…etc.
"He attributed the sound to one of two activities: sex or vomiting".
I'm so confused
Because both events involve groaning. Don't worry everyone was a virgin at some point.
@@johnny10grasp3 I bet you still are.
@@DaniL-hr9xo Good come back Dani. Let me know if you need me to explain any other life lessons. Have a great day pumpkin.
@@johnny10grasp3 Sir, if a woman sounds like she's about to puke while you're having intercourse with her, you're NOT doing a good job. Write that down and enjoy the rest of your day.
Not so deep throat I guess?
I need to buy a shirt that says “just a reminder I’m not diagnosing anyone in this video, just speculating on a situation like this”
Happy Little Clouds...i feel like im listening to Bob Ross with these videos
Couldn’t even get the quote right.
The flaming of New Jersey every time it is even tangentially related to the topic of a video is greatly appreciated. Please never change
I'm mystified by law enforcement working with psychics. Has this ever helped an investigation, except perhaps by chance? I'd hope that police would rely on actual science to solve crimes. Excellent content as usual, Dr. Grande.
Psychics work almost as well or or by sheer chance better than any using any d20 die or shaking a magic 8 ball around to see what comes up. >Worth every cent, of course
They work, that’s why
@@troy3456789 🤣👌
@@willnill7946 They work wonderfully right up until they're put to the test, then the results prove that anyone else is just as accurate or just as inaccurate.
He’s covered a few cases where the psychics delayed the case as they were giving wrong ‘information’. One was the poor girl who was held captive and saw on tv a psychic telling her mum she was already dead. Her mum was devastated and died before the girl could get free. The pain these either delusional or corrupt individuals cause is inexcusable especially as they target vulnerable people
Consulted a psychic?? The police?? That's just insane!
Great analysis as usual, Dr. G.
Yeah that happens
this happens more than you'd think and i've only seen about 2 cases where they actually helped lol
Spoiler alert they only helped if they either did the crime and knew about it or had a lucky guess. If psychics were real they would have been beating a path to go claim the $1mm prize offered by James Randi and prove it.
Terribly inept prosecutors in this case, just awful.
How so, twiggy gangsta?
Lead detective is now a Police Chief
sounds of a case of lets blame and frame the black man at the party, glad the jury saw it
@@tankthearc9875 😒.... seriously
@@BrainDamageComedy well he didnt do it fool
sad when someone innocent is taken away like this but it's even worse when the main culprit is never found
How anyone can leave their door open for hours at a time and allow people to wander in and out is mind-boggling.
Youngsters
Arpana’s apartment was locked and the murderer/s broke in.
Naivety will cause you to do that kind of foolishness
Why are you victim blaming
@@natlenan6743 because victims can and do collude in their victimization by using poor judgment. Just a fact, Jack.
Hi Dr. Grande, your Academic & Professional expertise coupled with your personal insight is second to none. Your wit makes your videos so entertaining.
Many thanks from all of your many fans & subscribers in the U.K. 💗
Hey Dr Grande, I love these crime summary videos but I wanted to let you know I really enjoyed and got a lot of help from your old video about person-centered therapy! Thanks so much for putting those learning aids out there, it helped my paper a lot! And hey, maybe consider that the world might enjoy an inside look at the profession of counseling now that your audience is so much bigger. Keep being great!
Maybe I am missing something, but I feel like Cameron seems like a severly overlooked suspect here. Why was he never charged?
There was a much stronger case against Emmanuel.
I agree. It's clear they did it together
I find it unlikely that someone would ask "what if I did it, and I just dont remember?" who was the perpetrator of the act.
Not that it clears him of guilt, but I'm sure it would be difficult for anyone to act normally when someone you had feelings for was murdered and you might be a suspect, especially after she apparently was hooking up with another man that night. I can see an innocent person thinking "oh my god... did I go into a blind rage?" and truly worry about everything.
He was given immunity for cooperating early on, so he couldn’t be charged
Simple, because he is white.
Great video as always Dr. Grande, you always make the graveyard shift go by fast!
You ain't lying
Oh my God I thought I was the only one🤣🤣🤣💯💯💯
I think there is plenty of reasonable doubt in the culpability of Emmanuel Fair. Furthermore, the investigation did a terrible job. For instance, with so many people coming and going DNA evidence should certainly be taken with a grain of salt. The hiring of a psychic to help with the investigation speaks volumes, it appears that they wanted to close a complex case without going through the necessary lengths to do so.
This is a very interesting case, Dr. Grande. I wonder if you would be inclined to cover it in your podcast, at some point.🙂
Fantastic analysis as usual! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.❤
Not sure how the psychic helped them close the case. Nothing she was would have been admissible.
Edit: unless you mean them _trying_ that approach implies then wanted shortcuts to a prosecution.
maybe emanuel was her guardian angel and he was trying to free her.... retarded jury let a killer child rapist free again to go hurt more, and maybe get away with it next time and for decades... reasonable doubt would have been his whereabouts being known definitely that entire night and morning.
Thanks for the upload, Dr. Grande. A plethora of suspects?!
It feels like law enforcements complete mismanagement of this entire case from employing the use of a psychic (seriously?!) to not arresting Cameron with Emmanuel to giving Cameron his phone so he could wipe it, is to blame for why the culprit is out there walking the streets. Hopefully in future the case will be reopened and successfully solved.
Happy Sundae 🍨👈😄 Dr. Grande & audience friends!! ❤❤❤
The guy whose DNA was on the boot lace was cleared? Odd
How so?
@@eadweard. ...the boot lace was the murder weapon. and depending on who's boot it belonged to, wouldn't have much reason to have other people's fingerprints on it (aside from those of the one responsible).
My thought on this is CJ had to many details on things he heard...moaning for a hour, water running for an hour, thud,...believe he is telling us exactly what happened. I have a neighbor and never hear water running...or growling...horrifying what she went through. I think these two Emmanuel and CJ were involved together.
Interesting about an Alford plea, never heard of it. Great analysis for us again. Thanks Dr G😊💝💝
It's basically like pleading no contest
@@magical8013 Yep got that from Dr G. He always enlightens us.
It asserts innocence but admits the prosecutor has sufficient evidence to convict. Usually nets a lower sentence.
Dr Grande
I can imagine that you’re families happiness is above average when you all sit down at supper.
WHY?
Anticipating the next great wave of you and the great way you share the world with them!
You always make a serious situation seem so much easier to deal with!
TY
Dr. Grande your running New Jersey jokes are killer!
People are disgusting creatures.
The guy's DNA on the bootlace I would say, that is the murder weapon, just like a knife or gun who else would be touching the bootlace? I call my grandchild on her phone all the time we live in the same house, it beats walking across the house to say something.
Presumably you'd touch a bootlace if it was in your boot.
If it was a bootlace from one of the victim’s boots, DNA from a guy she was having sex with doesn’t seem that crazy to me.
Strangled with a bootlace...wow...that sounds painful
Why wasn’t Camron ever charged?
Both men were in Cameron's apartment at 2:30am, and then in Cameron's car, listening to music. That's weird. Johnson was said to be drunk. It might be a bit much to say they "conspired" anything, but I think it's possible
Were they using any drugs?
as another comment said, the idea that they may have planned, if not an entire murder but rather an assault, isn't that improbable. plenty of men at parties have conspired to commit similar offences. i don't imagine most of them do so with a lot of planning.
Apparently in Scotland you can be found guilty, not guilty OR not proven. This seems eminently more sensible than either/or system.
Excellent! As always, Dr Grande provided a well thought out, ethical assessment and presented it in an professional manner.
Please comment on the troubled relationship between New York City attorney Burt Pugach and his ten-years-younger girlfriend Linda Riss, who was blinded and permanently scarred when thugs hired by Pugach threw lye in her face as depicted in the 2007 film Crazy Love. She married him after he served his prision sentence for blinding her.
Thank you for this analysis Dr. Grande. Wishing you great success.
YAY! My Sunday has been made infinitely better since Dr. Grande dropped a video! Your sense of humor is the best!
While Arpana and Emanuel was constructing their "construction worker" outfit, he was able to pocket an extra boot lace (probably a leather one). This idea sets up the MO to have his way with her later on when she got drunk. The other dude tried to cover it up for his buddy.
I love your grudge against New Jersey
It's a good example of how DNA evidence might not clarify who is the culprit.
The poor woman 😪 and her family
How many men attacked her?
I wonder if something happened to her and then the other guy walked in on the crime after the fact and did something to her dead body.
that's what i think!
You always make it all sound interesting. I just love your shows. I love to see how you come to your conclusions and I'm surprised by some though and I'm beginning to understand your line of thinking. Very impressed and your interest in these outcomes has impressed me.
Grande bringing the juice
It could have been both men in separate acts.
I feel as though Cameron had more of a motive to commit this crime, he was pursuing her romantically/sexually for some time, he may have felt knocked back that last time and he knew there would be many other suspects and DNA in the apartment which gives for easy opportunity. Why would he call her phone if he heard what he thought was her having sex at 3am? You wouldn’t interrupt and maybe if she was having sex with someone he felt angered enough to attack her afterwards..
Agreed. It was the whitey, they just ended up choosing the black guy because they well he's just that.
that sounds plausible. i was thinking the same thing! even if she had been assaulted, his account of the noises he apparently heard mean he may have gotten jealous once more. if he were to find her body, even, i think he may have abused it. that's assuming he happened upon it rather than committed the murder. what you say, though, makes sense! if she might've gotten with emmanuel that night consenually, and he didn't really explain because he didn't trust the cops to consider him fairly or something. and then, out of jealousy, cameron committed the crime. both of our theories make more sense than the prosecution's haha! it's awful that they didn't serve her the justice she deserved.
As soon as you mentioned New Jersey… I was waiting for a witty comment. Never let me down with your humor😂 Jersey has a big Indian community, a lot of good Indian restaurants there. But thankfully I lived in Brooklyn. 😅
Why thankfully? Maybe you need to look into your bias against Indians seems like you want to make a racist comment about Indians.
@@AA01532 It sounds like she has more of a bias against NJ, not Indian folks. Many different groups of people live in New Jersey.

There is most definitely reasonable doubt... Excellent analysis, Dr. Grande! ❤️
Why do they let people like that out?
Always a good idea to let strangers wander around in your Apt. with free drinks for everyone.
...she was killed by someone. she was abused, her body tampered with. this was the choice of someone else. she, like most people her age do, threw a party. this is not a crime. murder is. people should be allowed to enjoy themselves without being murdered.
Thanks again for your analysis, Doctor Grande! It just goes to show you what can happen if someone is too popular.
Whew I'm safe then! 🤣

Another good one from Lord Grande, may I suggest Griffith from Berserk?
Alcohol probably led to people being less inhibited and to the murder of Arpana. We will never know the identity of the murderer. A very sad story indeed.

Did any "psychic" ACTUALLY help with ANY case? If so, I am currently Queen Elizabeth I, daughter of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. I am NOT.
I would like to digress for a question. Dr. Grande sometimes jokes about New Jersey. Is it like a friendly rivalry type of situation? lol sorry I am not from US and can’t tell. Thanks for great videos. ❤
I'm surprised at Todd's constant swipe at New Jersey, not because I live in NJ, but because Todd himself is from a boring Delaware. Like seriously?
10/23/22 Why was Emmanuel charged, due to prior record? Cameron, had just as much or more motivation to commit this crime. Cameron, was one to find her next day, was an Olive skin tone male in bedroom!!

So sad for her. The man who did this faced no consequences.
The evidence against Cameron was strong. And also he kept saying he "didn't remember". Then tried to go to Canada. I'm not convinced that he wasn't the killer.
Leslie should have NEVER brought a dangerous felon into this environment. She shares some blame in this. What an annimall
She should never had the Halloween Party at her apartment..She would have been alive.. The biggest mistake to move to a new country alone..
Excellent work as always.
my family calls and texts each other from separate rooms in our houses. it's not unusual so Emanuel could've called Leslie from inside her apartment.
If a police department decides to use a self-proclaimed psychic to help with an investigation, i kinda feel like the DA would have to just throw out the case right there.
...I don't know what New Jersey did to you... but it... clearly did something.

Welcome to NewJersey…now go home type beats..beats🤔😉🤷🏾♂️😃
I love when I get to the part about whether you think the person is actually guilty and accidentally say out loud in public, "OOOOOH!" Spicy! 🙂
When the state gets the facts wrong, lies or fails in a prosecution the accused becomes their victim. There should be a punishment for state 'officials' when they cheat, are bent or prosecute the wrong person.
Did that happen in this case?
@@eadweard. It appears so.
I don’t think the two did conspire but it’s not as unlikely as you say. It wouldn’t have been a case of the two randomly plotting a murder, but rather a sexual assault developing in which they were both involved and which resulted in her unplanned homicide, which they they attempted to cover up together.
