    how long it takes to finalize this interior. its really cool.

    • @TheodonTechnologies
      @TheodonTechnologies  3 года назад +1

      Thank you. We designed the interior layout so it took longer than usual, for the basic modelling part. Otherwise the whole process takes no more than a week.

    Very Nice.. Textures are really impressive.. These projects give me hope as I thought RTX 2080 is not capable of rending this quality works..

      Thank you so much.
      Oh yes RTX 2080 is very much capable of rendering this and better stuff than this.

    did you use the cpu or the gpu lightmass gen 1 method??

    • @TheodonTechnologies
      @TheodonTechnologies  3 года назад +1

      We used Luoshang's GPU lightmass.

    •  3 года назад +1

      @@TheodonTechnologieshow did you get soft shadows?? I tried with the CPU method but can't get the soft lighting. however, with the raytraced GPU light bake, I can get a more realistic result but I don't have an RTX card and needs to run the CPU version. is Luoshang's GPU lightmass. working without RTX??

    • @TheodonTechnologies
      @TheodonTechnologies  3 года назад

      @ This project was finished pre RTX era. The workstation had a 770ti..snd it worked fine with luoshang's gpu lightmass. Try using a custom hdri for your skylight and not the default scenecapture. Use a overcast hdr image for it. Also set the direct light's source angle to 2 or above for softer direct light shadows

      @@TheodonTechnologies Thanks for the tips :) i will see if it works

      Thanks, yeah. The material used wasnt good enough. Check our latest archviz video. The glass is different in it.

    • @TheodonTechnologies
      @TheodonTechnologies  3 года назад

      True. The material setup in this project wasnt that well done.

      @@TheodonTechnologies this is an UE problem, not yours

    • @TheodonTechnologies
      @TheodonTechnologies  3 года назад

      Ya that, plus we have better material design now that works really well, even with the inbuilt limitations of UE and transparency.
