It there's rocks at the bottom, that's still quite dangerous. I learned at a young age not to be dumb enough to think all the risk depends on my own skill. I tried jumping rock to rock to cross a small river. It looked like a bridge, but I soon found some of the rocks were loose, even though they seemed huge. I found that the rocks that were wet on top were as slippery as ice. No matter how good I am at maintaining my balance and jumping, there's factors I don't know about until I put my full weight on the rock I jump toward. Doing a proper risk/reward estimate is always a good thing. I think a lot of people just see the reward as tempting and brush away the risk with "It's not THAT hard to pull off". That's because they don't of everything that can go wrong. Is getting your feet wet up to your ankles really worth risking falling on the rocks. Sure it looks easy on the eyes, but you can't know how slippery/stable the rocks are.

I'm a retired photographer and I would do full-service jobs for foreigners on vacation where I would be their personal photographer, chauffeur, guide, security, and trip planner. I had to add a clause in my contract that I would be paid in full and the trip would end immediately if anything dangerous was attempted ie. crazy stupid selfies when they have their own photographer. Of course, a young European couple found out I was serious while at the Grand Canyon and climbing down the side of a cliff to sit on the edge of a boulder for a selfie. A gust of wind nearly blew them off the edge and the young woman was crying. I immediately informed them the trip was over and they paid me in full. The kicker is they had to rehire me to drive them back to where the trip started :)

It's basically a harness with a propeller on the back and a paraglider that you can take off with by running and fly around in. I think the heavy set kid that fell from that tower ride was in Florida, not Las Vegas, I think it was in Orlando, some idiot employee let him go on the ride even though a sensor went off to warn he wasn’t strapped on correctly because of his size, the employee disabled the sensor and started the ride, and the force when it falls yeeted him from the ride since he wasn’t secured correctly. That ride should have never been started, he should have been refused from the ride….It would be Florida though…..
