Unpopular opinion; fast food and chain restaurants serving overly processed foods should go out of business. It’s time to get back to ingredients that are good for us.
Indeed, Christina! About a year or two ago, I started cutting back on my "fast-food" visits, and doing a lot more healthy cooking at home. I make a cheese burger that BK, McD's, or any of the fast-food giants can't even come close to matching for taste, quality, & at half the price also. I use only multi-grain breads & buns that add unreal flavor to my burger as well as increase nutritional value. Because I am not putting my hard earned $$$ into the pocket of those fast-food places, I can afford top quality ground beef, and even load my burger with more veggies, lots more veggies. I think I'll make one for my breakfast in the morning-LOL!... Chuck

Went to a McDonald's one time and I guess the surprise look on my face for my order cost, made the cashier apologize for the high prices. I felt thankful the cashier recognized this but sad that had to be this apologetic about where they work. My heart out to the employees.
But if you tip your server 50% every time you get served, that is the "tithe". Do the math on a month going out. Restaurant workers will tell you they hate Sundays...

...last year stopped at a MickyD's and paid 7$ for a Double Cheeseburger and medium order of fries (with no drink). The patties were about as thin as a cardboard bar coaster and it looked like it was carelessly thrown together (one of the patties was not even squarely on the bun). The Double Cheeseburger used to be on their 99¢ menu not long ago.

Well, they said it was made by a company owned by them, so what's wrong with them using their news to market their film / products ? It's just business. Chili's has been doing the 3 for me special for a few years now and I was saying to management they should advertise it's special. Huge burger with fries and drink plus appetizer like soup or salad. A chicken in the wild also needs to be concerned about predators, we've removed that particular stress, while they are in egg laying prime. What I'm missing in the restaurant price wars is the low-cost real hot food entrée selection that used to be available at a place like Boston Market. High-quality buffets are a special treat but rare, unfortunately.

My only question pertaining to the Menendez brothers situation is, if it's self-defense, then why shoot your parents 16 times? That's what I find questionable. Self-defense is someone coming after you, and you are retaliating in the moment. One bullet in the right place would have killed the parents if, in the moment, the father was coming after them in a heated situation, or if the father was trying to molest one of them in the moment and the other brother shot the father. That seems to be missing in this case.

For real. 100%. Even in the grocery store: the entire middle of the store is basically refined flour, sugar or salt, and cheap cooking oils.

Chilis: worst burger I have ever had. Tasteless & the lettuce, tomato, onion plopped on in one big pile. The bun was dry and stale. Maybe it was just that location? I’ll stick with In n Out and Whataburger.
Chili's has been doing the 3 for me special for a few years now and I was saying to management they should advertise it's special. Huge burger with fries and drink plus appetizer like soup or salad. What the newscast didn't report that veterans like myself get a military discount, I think 10%. High quality burger cheaper than fast food

Huh. Interesting weather forecast. I'm in Chicago. These guys are saying we are going to get heavy snow by Thanksgiving. Our local forecast is showing NO precipitation predicted for 10 days going forward (I'm watching this late, on Monday night). Looking at the daily hourly forecasts it's showing cloudy weather, but any chances of precipitation are all single-digits, with a couple of teen-digits in spots like an hour, maybe 2 hours, then back to 1% or 2%. Well, I guess time will tell! Happy and safe Thanksgiving travels, y'all, whether they be across town or across the country!

I feel sorry for chickens too. As I looked after some free ones and I was surprised at how much difference in personality they had, and life they had in them. Such cool birds. Yet the meat and egg industry treat them like machines. Many die of stress. which means they are all suffering
@@whatleft123 Sadly the truth is the original birds never had an egg a day. The modern chickens have been breed to push out eggs daily, which they never did in the wild, Basically it's a mutation to pump out so manu eggs like they do now
@@brobinson8614 there is also the fact that they are kept in ideal temperatures to keep producing and keep them well fed. A chicken in the wild also needs to be concerned about predators, we've removed that particular stress, while they are in egg laying prime.
Nature gave them no ability to survive since the time of dinosaurs except that they produce more offspring then predators can eat, and now have human husbandry.

If my guess is right, the price dairy farmers have been paid per hundred-weight of milk, has not gone up any more than $15.00/hundred-weight since 1970. My only question pertaining to the Menendez brothers situation is, if it's self-defense, then why shoot your parents 16 times?
That's what I find questionable.
Self-defense is someone coming after you, and you are retaliating in the moment.
One bullet in the right place would have killed the parents if, in the moment, the father was coming after them in a heated situation, or if the father was trying to molest one of them in the moment and the other brother shot the father.
That seems to be missing in this case.
