Nice review. I am beginning to see the value of single shadows. There are always colors in a pallet that I never use, and that seems so wasteful. These look so beautiful
They're so good. They are excellent quality, and you never have to try and figure out how to use that one pop of color that comes in a premade palette. I wholeheartedly recommend!

I’ve been eyeing Sydney grace shadows for maybe 2 years now. Haven’t bit the bullet yet due to worries about color/swatches. I have this issue with most things like lipsticks and eyeshadows, if I can’t swatch it in person I’m usually not happy and wind up returning things because I chose incorrectly. I also don’t like singles I prefer palettes and none of her palettes speak to me the way other brands do, I prefer cool toned neutrals but it looked like you had some beautiful neutrals in your collection ❤️
I totally understand your concern. I looked at the website for years before taking the plunge and making a purchase. I feel like the swatches are a better representation now, than the photos from years ago. I did end up with two shades that I thought were going to be less intense than they are, and it will be interesting to see if I actually end up using them. But two out of 12 is not too bad.🤷🏻♀️
How are you handling not being able to swatch things in stores these days? Are you purchasing much of anything? I'm doing my best to look for reviews and swatches in multiple places before I make purchases. It has helped, but I've returned quite a few things because of an incorrect shade match.
Sydney Grace doesn't accept returns unless products arrive broken, or are defective. You can't return or exchange something just because you don't like the shade. I could be wrong, but that's my understanding. I can see how you may not be willing to go out on a limb and make a purchase based on your preferences.
I'd never been one for shadow singles until I discovered Sydney Grace. I definitely have favorites that I use regularly, and other ones that I pull in occasionally. But the formulation is amazing, the shine is incredible, and I love how easily they blend. For that reason alone I continue to buy these singles. Thanks so much for watching today!
I have purchased from Sydney Grace. Great shadows! I dont like that their site is mildly clunky...and swatches are challenging. But, love their shadows.
Yeah, not the best website, but I'm willing to put up with it to get to the products. I feel like they're trying harder to get better swatches. I ended up with a few shades this year that aren't what I expected due to inaccurate photos.

I can understand that. Since I have a neutral skin tone, I can wear both cool and warm shades. I feel more comfortable in warm tones. Which is why I paired this eye look with a warm shade of lipstick. 🤭
Loved the video. I have the SG Tiny Marvels and Enduring Love palettes and I have purchased many of the single eyeshadows. SG shadows never disappoint.
I love SG shadows so much. I have so many palettes, and will continue to purchase them. The ones I don't get are the more colorful ones like the Temptalia collab palettes, and the Sweet Indulgence palette. I think I have every other one. 🤭🤷🏻♀️

I really have been enjoying it. I just ordered the new SG palette XOXO palette. (I don't recall the actual name) I hope you like it (the coffee talk) at much as I do when it's arrives.
That pallet is so pretty, can’t wait to get home to play with mine. I bought all of those singles last year except for the green, love them all.🥰. I didn’t get a mystery bag this time. I haven’t seen anyone show one yet to see what we’re in the .🌺
I didn't get a mystery bag this year. I wanted to, but haven't used last year's bag much. I might get one again, but I like the 9 pan palettes so much.
I was so excited to see what you picked up Rebecca!!! I just decluttered my singles. I have ABH, MAC, Colorpop and Sydney Grace. I had to get rid of my makeup geek, except the shimmers because they all went bad, like no pigment anymore. I’d gotten away from singles but nave been having so much fun using them again! I love SG shimmery, sparkly shades!! They are like metallic goodness that spread like butter to my eyelids without making them look crepey and wrinkled. Ps. Loved the look you created! Love SG!! Love you!!❤️☕️❤️
Thanks. ❤️ I don't want to use any other singles because the SG ones are so good. I'm delighted get them all in the same palette. I ordered a super large magnetic palette from Adept Cosmetics. Should be here later this week, and I'll have fun putting all my SG shadow singles in it!
I LOVE cool tones, pretty much only worn them even when the palettes were hard to find. (Thank you, MAC.) I just bought this and I'm in love with it. I use this, Stone Cold Fox and CP Taupe.

@maureentakach you feel that coffee talk and CP that's taupe are different enough to need both?? I have CP that's taupe and it is a favorite. Do I really need SG coffee talk??
Thats a lovely video! Im the same - sure I can go ahead and buy a bright blue shadow but I just know its not gonna be used, so I just enjoy some colors from a far but always get my gems like neutrals, mauves, grungy olives, taupes, etc. I love that they make so many different undertones and just that the shadows are not one dimensional. I hope youll film the singles declutter series, its funny but I totally can relate in having so many different ones I like too but so drawn to just playing with my SG ones lol, they must use some magic for sure :)) Thank you for swatches, that Blondie shade is one of my faves too. I could just re-arrange and swatch my shadows 24/7, its so relaxing and makes me even more creative in a way.
Yes! The more I swatch my singles, the better I understand them. I'm very excited at the prospect of having more Sydney Grace shades. I'm going to declutter the bulk of what I have from other brands, but there might be a small pallet of favorite finishes I just can't seem to get rid of. It's coming, I'm not excited about the swatching involved, but it's coming.
Definitely barely get the dark color on the brush and place your hand at the far end from the brush when applying. They are so pigmented you don’t need to use much 👍🏻
I use Beyond to really get that outer edge “cat eye” but I barely tap my Rephr 14 in the shadow.
Great suggestion. I normally hold the brush closer to the bristles, and that's when I get too much pigment. I know holding the brush at the end of the handle will help achieve a lighter application, but I never do it. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
I need to see if I can get my hands on some Rephr brushes. I hear they're amazing.
@@thelipstickgal my favorite Rephr brushes: fluffy 16 (wish I had 2), 15 (I have 2 😂) and my favorite 14 (definitely have 2)

@@docm5314 I do, but never seem to place an order. I have a lot of Sonia G and Wayne Goss brushes I love, and I don't "need" anything new. I want, but don't need. I'll get around to it eventually.
