The pandemic saved Trump. His trade war with China was sinking the economy so he mitigated in the short term by cutting taxes and printing money. The job numbers weren't going up so it was only a matter of time before the economy crashed. The pandemic came along and provided him with an excuse.

The problem with electing a Washington outsider as president is that it usually takes them at least a year to figure out what they are doing. They have to form relationships with key people in Congress and determine which of their staff members are actually competent. Biden already knew all of that, so he was able to accomplish more than Obama or Trump did in his first two years as president.

I'd much rather listen to someone older who has gained knowledge through observing changes and its impact on different aspects of business. He shares insight that younger people are just not old enough to acquire. And Mr. Schlosstein clearly spells it out, IN REALITY, Trump talked, Biden/Harris accomplished. That really puts things in a nutshell. Trump talked a good talk, Whereas the Democrats walked the walk. Which makes Trumps entire base of supporters duped fools we need to stop listening to. They are not dealing with reality, they are not interested in the truth, they are only interested in supporting Trump, winning and complaining when they don't like the results of getting their way and blaming everyone except themselves.

The cost of gas affects supply chain’s delivering food and that is passed onto the consumer. Biden cleans up the mess from Trump's Covid debacle and his policies avoided a recession. Obama inherits the Bush deregulated real estate mess and resumes growth in his 2nd term.
