Great to see Tyler back around, he played such a vital role in this run.
The dude is seemingly everywhere right now. There’s a gas station near me that just had a grand opening for its car wash and he was there to promote it. Someone reading will likely know which one lmao
@@zeusthedrumlord547dude he’s my hockey coach😂😂😂
TK48 forever!!
Love the random camera view of Colby’s shoulder 🤦🏻♂️
Reminds me of a commercial, I think for Reebok, where Sid and Max shoot pucks at the dryer in Sid's boyhood home's basement. When Max falls behind, he says, "Who scored two goals in game 7 of the Finals?" Lol
I am one of the biggest female Pens fans in the world. I have watched this G7 SO many times throughout the yrs and I still had tears watching you boys watch this together. What a night, what a run, and what a save by MAF to win the Cup. TK you were awesome that game and MT with 2 goals including the GWG was bitter sweet. I was mad when they traded Colby. And poor Hossa eh. My heart hurt for Sid, being my fellow Nova Scotian and all.
The Big G winning the CS trophy and his smile, I'll never forget it.
I remember watching this game with my momma, and how we both celebrated. So happy she got to watch 2 more before she passed in 2019. She loved her Sid, MAF and Kuni.
Man, I loved this game and my Pittsburgh Penguins. Thanks for doing this guys, and thanks for winning us a beautiful Cup.
Been a fan since 1991. Watching Mario and Jagr hoist the cup was everything. That was a great era. So, was this, Sid's first cup. Loved watching Maxime play.
I remain a big fan of "Superstar Treatment" until this day. Max said in an interview back then before Game 7 about which player could be the hero of the game, he said "Why can't I be the hero? I'd like to think I could be the hero".
He scored 2 goals & he was the hero!
Was there as Pens fan. Some fans were rude to me and other wings fans defended saying that we don't act like that. Very classy organization in those days.
2009 Jordan Staal sooooo underrated
I don’t think Staal was underrated. The Pens knew exactly what he could do and he was highly rated. On any other team, he would be a #1 or 2 center, but he was stuck behind Sid and Malkin on the depth chart and the Pens enjoyed having three number 1 centers during that time.
Tyler Kennedy is an underrated player who I think should go down in history as a classic Penguin. He provided depth scoring, and stuck up for his teammates despite his size. When I first became a hockey fan and penguins fan, he was immediately among my favorite players. The contemporary Penguins could use a player like him.
KENNEDY….KENnedy…Kennedy
man if time traveling was a thing I’d go back to this game to witness it live, can’t imagine the tension with what was on the line
I will never forget this game because I was overseas watching it outside during a sandstorm early in the morning.
This was awesome. Love those guys so much, that team was such a special group. Would love to see this done with HBK/Hornqvist/etc. for the (second) B2B Cups!
I remember I watched this game, the last 2 minutes took like 15 minutes to play....so nerve racking
Great memories! 👍
More of this! So awesome! Always good to see Talbo but, TK is the man!
I was 4 during the 2009 playoffs, so it’s awesome that I can see and appreciate it now!
I love TK rubbing that beautiful ring! It's like a miniature magic lamp
Watch an absolute squad of warriors. I love this team.
Well done guys. Great reliving that game...what a special game for Pens fans and you can just see how special it was in the eyes of both Max and TK, especially as they watch the cup celebration. Max was always a fan favorite, but this game cemented his place in Pens history. Crazy to think really, with all of the talent on that bench. Who'd have thought that Max Talbot would be the hero. Great video guys.
This was cool to see..grew up watching these guys, must feel surreal like full circle type thing meeting up and watching back for the first time. Awesome vid fellas.
Good to have Army apart of the organization and being able to do things like this to share with us.
THANK YEW BOYZ!!!!!
This is awesome.
Man, watching that brings back so many great memories and also brings back all the anxiety I felt during the whole game!! Let’s go Pens!!
I am only 5 mins in and love this so much already. MAF hahaha WATER prank.
Go pens Go !!! 🐧⚫️🟡⚪️
Love this and need more. Even just breaking down big games and talking about what they see. Perspective is everything. Getting to learn theirs was awesome.
Awesome video three big parts of the penguins history
I was at game 6. Craziest Pens game I had ever been at. I still would say the Wings were the better team, unlike especially '16, and '17 where the Pens were easily the better team. Part of me still can't believe that they pulled it off in '09.
My favorite Cup of our 5.
"Lots of scoring chances... no score... just empty net" - Geno
Suuuuuuuuuper late to the party and I don’t know if this will ever be seen but how about some love for MAF
Think I speak for everyone when I say
👁️ ❤ 🌸
I love this so much.
They even yelled SHOOT. 😅😅
Yo tk i trained with u thanks for all the signatures
Sad Colby couldn't win it 09 with the team :(
The Colby Armstrong trade should definitely be on the list of Shero's worst trades.
@@marstino4434 didn’t they get Dupuis?
Dupuis and Hossa
@@flyjarrett I believe they also got Kunitz.
@@marstino4434 Kunitz came from Anaheim with Tangradi for Ryan Whitney
"Got rid of bad apples" said right in the face. LOL
Flower will always be a Penguin
Tyler Kennedy.........................................Kennedy.
I like it the next ones , Pickering and Yager ,
It would’ve been cool to hear about the handshake line. Cause if I remember correctly, didn’t Sid come in late to the line cause he was still celebrating?
I honestly forgot about Kennedy
TK still looks like he is 20.
I miss fleury being actually elite.
A little late to be showing this no?
Wasn't that the year when everyone sucked, except maybe Talbot? lol
No not at all. Malkin scored 36 points in the playoffs which is one of the best totals in the last 30 years.
Watch Geno in the Canes series that year...lol. Best goal ever seen in that one. That spinorama is on loop somewhere in my brain still lol
That was awesome!
