  • Protect plants from snails and slugs before they eat all the newly sprouted vegetable seedlings in the garden. This DIY cage, made very easily from hardware cloth, can give plants a fighting chance. This is an easily accomplished solution that really works. The cages can be moved around the garden to protect seedlings at different planting times. They can be reused crop after crop and year after year. Undo the corners and store them flat for the winter.
