Who would even consider paying over $90,000 for a Fiat Grand wagoneer. You could buy a Toyota Land cruiser for that money and it would last you forever if you service it properly
You’re showing the G30 5-series (7th generation). One look at the G60 (8th generation) current 5-series explains why it’s not selling. It looks like it was designed in Seoul, not Munich.
I would say designed by monkeys, not Seoul because Seoul has some pretty good designs. Not sure where the BMW designers came from but they are monkeys for sure!
Sports cars and sedans are getting to be a real tough sell. When the 5 series doesn't sell it tells me it's over for sedans. And sports cars the people that want them usually can't afford them.
The current 5 series is not the one pictured. That's the old one. The current one is not attractive or smart looking. The current Z is not a great car. It might look new, but it's based on the previous Z, which is an outdated, uncompetitive platform. The Fiat is not a good EV. The Audi is old. The Jeeps is absurdly overpriced.
The German brands are overpriced and suffer from far too many quality issues. The others presented here are niche vehicles and not well advertised. It is no wonder they are not selling.
The new Z is actually a respectable homage to the original. But it’s hardly affordable even at sticker, does NOT warrant any dealer markup, and the reality is that 2-seaters are not in vogue.
EV's aren't perfect. They still cost too much, have range and charging issues. But other than that, they are better than ICE vehicles in every other way. Better acceleration, quieter, way less maintenance, more interior space...
Audi got crazy and overpriced their vehicles! They THINK because the Q series is really nice, we would be stupid to pay their ridiculous prices. I bought the SQ5, with 10K miles on it, for just about half the price of a new one. Audi is self destructing - DUMB!

Was in a bmw dealer at weekend, looking at new 5 series. Salesman asked me what I thought of the looks…. I just said I’m not sure. My G31 looks better

Thanks for the info

I would buy a Fiat 500e tomorrow, if it cost $20k... It's too small to cost what it does...
Good info
The 5 series looks like a Honda accord now. Same fate the Mercedes E suffered

Is this the old 5 series or the new one?
Looks to me like an old one, it doesn’t have that laptop look dash I hate.
It’s definitely NOT the current generation. It’s a 2023 at the latest.

Which would mean that it’s the older model as people are opting to buy the new model. Something they should mention.
The lazy styling of the "new" Z car is the deal breaker, along with the dealer mark ups......

Nissan Z starts at 43k.
SUVs gained popularity because people hated the styling of minivans and station wagons. I’m sorry, but the Q8 has zero style ( like most SUVs).
I hope the car makers get it, that WE don’t want no stinkin’ EVs.
I 😅owned a 328i, anything above the 3 series is too expensive, and too much electronics to break, in short, they live in the shop!
Most mechanics know, Nissan, something missin’.
We means you. I do have and want an EV
Ever driven an EV, wise guy?

Terrible AI narration.

Horrible robot voice.
